Creamy Vanilla Coffee image

My husband and his friends would often buy a similar version of this creamy, vanilla-flavored beverage at a nearby coffee house. Because daily stops got to be expensive, I decided to try and make my own. This smooth sensation was the result.-Heather Kunkel, Wellsville, New York

Number Of Ingredients 5

1/3 cup ground coffee
1 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons instant vanilla pudding mix
2-1/2 cups 2% milk

Steps:

  • Place ground coffee in the coffee filter of a drip coffeemaker. Add water; brew according to manufacturer's directions., In a small bowl, combine sugar and dry pudding mix. Stir in milk and coffee. Chill until serving.

This Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew is the perfect sweet & delicious iced coffee drink! Easy-to-make cold brew sweetened with vanilla cream!

1/3 cup water
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 vanilla bean ((or 2 teaspoons vanilla bean paste or high-quality vanilla extract))
4 cups cold water
3/4 cup coarsely ground coffee
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup milk
4 tablespoons simple syrup (recipe above)
a dash or two of vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
ice cubes

Steps:

  • Add the water, sugar, and vanilla bean (slice it down the middle first) to a pot over medium-high heat and cook until the sugar dissolves.
  • Let the mixture sit and cool to room temperature, and remove the vanilla bean before adding the syrup to a jar or bottle. Discard the vanilla bean.
  • Add the coarsely ground beans to a french press, pitcher or large mason jar.
  • Pour the cold water over the beans and stir well to moisten all the beans.
  • Cover and let it brew in the fridge for 12 to 18 hours.
  • Add the cream, milk, syrup and vanilla bean paste or extract to a mason jar and shake well to combine.
  • Pour the cold brew over ice into large glasses.
  • Top with the vanilla cream mixture and serve.

2 c flour or gluten flour
3 Tbsp baking powder
1/3 c margarine or light margarine
1 egg,beaten
1/4 c non-fat milk or milk
1/2 tsp almond extract
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 c sugar or spenda sugar (24 packets)

Steps:

  • 1. Sift together the flour and baking powder. Fold in the margarine and set aside. In a separate bowl, place the egg,milk,cold coffee,almond extract,vanilla extract and sugar or Splenda sugar and mix well. Add in the flour mixture and beat until the batter is smooth.
  • 2. Pour the batter into a greased 13x9 inch pan. Bake for 30 minutes at 325F. Tips:
  • 3. To check if the cake is done,insert a toothpick or knitting needle through the center. If the toothpick or needle come out clean, you'll know your cake is ready.
