1/4 cup powdered sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon table salt

Steps:

  • Place the popcorn in a large bowl; spray with nonstick spray, tossing well.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and salt. Sprinkle over the popcorn, tossing all the while until well coated. Yields about 2 cups per serving.

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 1/2 tablespoons butter, melted

Steps:

  • Place popcorn in a large bowl.
  • Lightly coat popcorn with cooking spray; toss well.
  • Repeat procedure.
  • Combine sugar, cinnamon and salt in a small bowl.
  • Drizzle popcorn with melted butter; toss well.
  • Sprinkle with sugar mixture; toss well to coat.

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 lb plum tomato, cut into 1/4-inch slices
1 (18 1/4 ounce) box spice cake mix
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
3/4 cup fat free egg substitute
3/4 cup low-fat buttermilk

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9 x 13 inch baking pan with foil and spray the foil with nonstick spray.
  • Combine the brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly in the pan patting lightly to cover. Top with an even layer of the tomato slices.
  • Beat the cake mix, soup, egg substitute and buttermilk on low speed until the cake mix is moistened. At medium speed, beat until well blended. Pour the batter into the pan.
  • Bake until a toothpick insterted into the center comes out clean, 35-40 minutes. Cool in the pan on a rack 5 minutes. Run a knife around the cake to loosen. Place a large platter over the cake and invert; remove the foil and let cool. Cut into 12 squares.

2 (3 1/3 ounce) bags microwave popcorn, popped & unpopped kernels removed
1/3 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 250 degrees. Place the popped popcorn into a large mixing bowl and set aside.
  • Melt the butter and sugar in a small saucepan over medium low heat. Remove from the heat & stir in the cinnamon and vanilla. Pour over the popcorn, and mix until the popcorn is evenly coated. Spread the popcorn into a large greased roasting pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven 10 minutes, stirring after 5 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool before serving.
