This satisfying salad is good hot or cold. It can also be easily made into a main dish by adding cooked chicken, shrimp or tofu. With it's slightly sweet flavor and fun mix of ingredients, the whole family will like it.-Taste of Home Test Kitchen

Ingredients

8 ounces uncooked bucatini pasta or thick spaghetti
1/2 cup hoisin sauce
1/3 cup rice vinegar
3 tablespoons orange juice concentrate
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
4 ounces fresh snow peas
1/2 cup julienned carrot
1 small onion, cut into thin wedges
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 garlic clove, minced

Steps:

Break bucatini into thirds; cook according to package directions. , Meanwhile, in a large bowl, whisk the hoisin sauce, vinegar, orange juice concentrate, soy sauce and sesame oil. Drain pasta. Add to hoisin sauce mixture; toss to coat. Set aside., In a large skillet, saute the snow peas, carrot and onion in canola oil for 2 minutes. Add garlic; saute 1 minute. Add to pasta mixture; toss to coat. Serve warm or chilled. Refrigerate leftovers.

Ingredients

1 head cauliflower
4 dried white peaches
1 cup grapes, halved
1/4 cup fresh mint, chopped
6 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1/3 cup champagne vinegar
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup beef jerky
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
Salt and freshly ground pepper

Steps:

For the cauliflower couscous: Grate the cauliflower into a large mixing bowl with a cheese grater or in a food processor with the grating tool attached so it looks like couscous. Julienne the peaches thinly so they resemble worms and add to the bowl. Stir in the grapes and mint.
For the champagne poppy vinaigrette: Blend together the olive oil, champagne vinegar, maple syrup, vanilla extract and garlic in a food processor. Once combined, fold in the jerky, poppy seeds and some salt and pepper. Pour on top of the cauliflower salad and mix.

Easy Halloween Jello Salad image

This fruit flavored Jello Salad is an easy way to make Halloween festive!

Ingredients

6 ounces lime Jello salad
3 ounces lemon instant pudding
4 cups water
8 ounces blackberries
gummy worms
8 ounces cool whip

Steps:

Bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat.
Quickly whisk in the Jello and pudding mixes until dissolved.
Add blackberries and a bunch of gummy worms.
Pour into a 13x13 glass baking dish.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4 hours.
Remove from fridge and break up Jello--add to a big bowl.
Fold in the cool whip.
Enjoy!

Ingredients

1 pint vanilla ice cream
1 pint orange sherbet
1 (3 ounce) package orange flavored Jell-O® mix
1 (2 liter) bottle lemon-lime soda
1 (3 ounce) package gummy worms candy

Steps:

Combine the vanilla ice cream and orange sherbet in a large bowl. Sprinkle the ice cream and sherbet with orange gelatin. Slowly pour the lemon-lime soda over the ice cream and sherbet; the mixture will be very foamy. Sprinkle a little more orange gelatin mix on top, if desired. Arrange several candy worms in the bowl so they drape over the sides and hang over the edge. Serve in cups and place a candy worm in each cup.

1 pound medium shrimp - peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons butter
2 lemons, juiced
2 heads butter lettuce
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 avocado - peeled, pitted and diced
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 cucumber, cleaned and chopped
½ cup shredded carrots
⅓ cup vinaigrette salad dressing

Steps:

In a large saute pan melt butter over medium heat. Add the shrimp and lemon juice, cook until shrimp just turn pink. Remove from heat and drain.
In a large bowl tear lettuce into bite-size pieces, add the tomatoes, avocado, celery, cucumber carrots and cooked shrimp, toss to combine. Top with your favorite dressing or vinaigrette.
