ARROZ CON QUIMBOMBó
Hace mucho tiempo que no preparaba esta receta de arroz con quimbombó. Otra de las herencias culinarias de mi mamá, ella lo prepara riquísimo y a mí me gusta mucho porque es un arroz distinto a todos los que suele preparar. Más de una vez le digo que me lo prepare cuando la visito. De más está decir que además de compartir esa comida, aprovechamos para divertirnos juntas en la cocina; una forma más de unirnos en familia. La receta es muy sencilla pero su aroma y sabor es delicioso.

Steps:
- Lava y corta los tallos y puntas de los quimbombós, deséchalas. Si deseas puedes cortarlos en rodajas o cocinarlos completos. Ponlos a hervir en 1 taza de agua aproximadamente 8 minutos.
- En otra olla agrega el aceite, sofríe el jamón solo hasta dorar, añade la cebolla y el ajo, cocina por 2 minutos a fuego medio-bajo. Agrega el pimiento, el sazonador y los quimbombós y parte del agua en donde los herviste.
- Añade el arroz, la sal, cuando comience a hervir, baja el fuego a bajo, tápalo hasta que el arroz quede bien cocido.
