Steps:
- Grease and preheat your waffle iron.

Then add in the milk, egg, and vanilla, allowing them to combine as fully as possible with the butter. Next, mix in the pancake mix until you have a smooth and creamy consistency.
- Spoon the batter into your prepared baking dish and spread evenly before placing the apple slices on top and giving them a little push so they fall into the batter a little. Next, mix together the pancake mix, sugar, and cinnamon for the streusel in a medium-sized bowl until combined. Cut in the butter with a fork or pastry blender until you have a crumbly consistency. Generously sprinkle this over the top of your batter and apples until the top has been covered.
