I used reduced-fat items to lighten up this Parmesan and bacon dip. Not only it is a snap to mix up the night before a party, but the proportions can easily by adjusted for smaller or larger groups. I get requests for the recipe whenever I serve it. -Pam Garwood, Lakeville, Minnesota

Number Of Ingredients 6

1/2 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise
1/2 cup reduced-fat ranch salad dressing
1/2 cup fat-free sour cream
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup crumbled cooked bacon
Assorted fresh vegetables

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Serve with vegetables.

I got this recipe for a six layer dip from my Aunt, who always makes this for parties and movie nights. The flavors of BBQ Sauce and cool ranch and bacon blend together in this perfect dip!!

7 slices bacon
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 (1 ounce) envelope ranch dressing mix
½ cup barbeque sauce
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 tomato, chopped
1 ½ cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Place the bacon in a large, deep skillet, and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain the bacon slices on a paper towel-lined plate. Crumble the cooled bacon into a bowl and set aside.
  • Stir together the cream cheese and ranch dressing mix in a bowl until smooth. Spread the mixture on the bottom of a pie dish. Evenly spread the barbecue sauce on top of the cream cheese mixture. Layer the bacon, bell pepper, and tomato on top of the barbecue sauce and top with the Cheddar cheese. Cover and chill for 1 hour before serving.
