I make this recipe on cold nights...the gravy is SOOOO good!! I serve it with whipped potatoes and I practically have my family licking the plate.

4 -6 pork chops
1 tablespoon flour
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package Lipton Onion Soup Mix
2 1/4 cups boiling water
1 cup sour cream

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Brown chops and move to a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Leave 1 tablespoon drippings in pan. Add to pan the flour and onion soup mix. Blend in water. Pour over chops in baking dish.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Uncover and continue to bake for another 30 minutes.
  • Remove pan from oven.
  • Remove chops from pan to serving dish and then add in the sour cream to the liquid in the pan to make gravy.
  • Serve immediately.
  • Serve with potatoes or noodles.

Steps:

  • Generously spray 12-­inch nonstick skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium-high heat. Cook pork chops in skillet about 6 minutes, turning once, until brown on both sides. Remove pork from skillet; cover to keep warm.
  • Reduce heat to medium. Add onions to skillet; cook 3 minutes. Stir in broth and pepper. Return pork to skillet; spoon onion mixture over pork. Cover tightly and simmer 12 minutes or until pork is no longer pink and meat thermometer inserted in center reads 160°.
  • Mix milk and flour in small bowl. Add to skillet; cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until thickened.

  • quickly brown chops in a frying pan(in batches or use more then one pan) over med-high heat. right before they are done pour in a small amount of water to deglaze pan.

garlic powder to taste
½ cup all-purpose flour
1 large onion, sliced 1/4 inch thick
2 cubes chicken bouillon
2 cups boiling water
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream

Steps:

  • Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and then dredge in 1/2 cup flour. In a skillet over medium heat, lightly brown chops in a small amount of oil.
  • Place chops in slow cooker, and top with onion slices. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water and pour over chops. Cover, and cook on Low 7 to 8 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 200 degrees F (95 degrees C).
  • After the chops have cooked, transfer chops to the oven to keep warm. Be careful, the chops are so tender they will fall apart. 1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 small onion, sliced and separated into rings
1 tablespoon canola oil
1/4 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
1 envelope pork gravy mix
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
3/4 cup water

Steps:

  • Sprinkle pork chops with pepper and salt. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook chops with onion in oil for 2-3 minutes on each side or until lightly browned., Add broth. Bring to a boil. ¾ cup milk
