1 pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S Unsweetened Chocolate
3/4 cup butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 cup flour
1 pkg. (11 oz.) KRAFT Caramels
1/3 cup whipping cream
6 slices cooked OSCAR MAYER Bacon, crumbled, divided
1 pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Line 13x9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides. Spray with cooking spray. Microwave unsweetened chocolate and butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min. or until butter is melted; stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Add sugar and eggs; mix well. Stir in flour; pour into prepared pan.
  • Microwave caramels and cream in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min. or until caramels begin to melt; stir until caramels are completely melted and mixture is well blended. Stir in 1/2 cup bacon. Drop, in spoonfuls, over batter in pan; swirl gently.
  • Bake 30 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out with fudgy crumbs. (Do not overbake.) Cool completely.
  • Melt semi-sweet chocolate as directed on package; drizzle over brownie. Sprinkle with remaining bacon. Let stand until chocolate glaze is firm. Use foil handles to remove brownie from pan before cutting to serve.

1/4 cup water
3 tablespoons canola oil
1 large egg, room temperature
1/4 teaspoon ground chipotle pepper
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup marshmallow creme
1 cup hot caramel ice cream topping
6 whole graham crackers, coarsely chopped
Coffee ice cream, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425°. Place a wire rack in a 15×10x1-inch baking pan. Place bacon strips in a single layer on rack. Bake until crisp, about 20 minutes. When cool enough to handle, chop bacon; set aside. Reserve 2 tablespoons drippings., Reduce oven setting to 325°. Line an 8-in. square baking pan with foil, letting ends extend up sides; grease foil. In a large bowl, combine brownie mix, water, oil, egg, chipotle powder and reserved bacon drippings. Stir in chocolate chips and half the chopped bacon. Transfer to prepared pan. 4 squares unsweetened baking chocolate
3/4 cup butter
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1 cup pecans, chopped

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 13x9 inch baking pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides of pan. Grease foil.
  • Microwave chocolate and butter in large microwavable bowl on high 2 minutes or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is melted. Stir in sugar. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add flour and nuts, mix well. Spread into prepared pan.
  • Bake 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out with fudgy crumbs. Do no overbake. Cool in pan. Remove brownies from pan using foil as handles. Cut into 24 squares.
  • CAKE-LIKE Brownies: Prepare as directed, stirring in 1/2 cup milk along with eggs and vanilla and increase flour to 1-1/2 cups.

1 cup brown sugar
¼ cup white sugar

½ teaspoon salt
½ cup chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8-inch square baking dish.
  • Fry bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat until nearly crisp, about 5 minutes. Add honey and stir until the foaming subsides. Remove the bacon with a slotted spoon to a plate to cool.
  • Mix melted butter, brown sugar, white sugar, and vanilla extract in a large bowl; mix in eggs.

This is an easy recipe to make for those unexpected needs that arise. I always keep the ingredients on hand. Everyone always requests this recipe.

14 ounces caramels, wrappers removed
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 (18 1/4 ounce) box German chocolate cake mix
1/4 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup nuts, chopped (optional)

Steps:

  • Mix (by hand) cake mix with 1/4 cup evaporated milk and 1/2 cup melted butter; add nuts if using.
  • Batter will be stiff.
  • Press half of batter into bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. I use wax paper and a small rolling pin to make this process easier.
  • Bake at 350° for 8 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, melt caramels with 1/2 cup evaporated milk in microwave or in double boiler.
  • Remove bottom layer from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips, then drizzle with caramel.
  • Top with remaining batter by rubbing batter between fingers and dropping evenly (will not cover completely).
  • Bake 18- 20 minutes.
  • Let cool before cutting.
