These honey-bbq chicken wings are seasoned then baked until nice and crispy, then slathered in honey-barbecue sauce that is sweet, spicy and has just the right amount of tanginess. Here is the recipe. Perfect for parties or any night of the week.

2 pounds chicken wings ( separated and wing tips removed)
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cayenne
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup of your favorite Honey-BBQ Sauce
FOR SERVING: Ranch dressing crumbly white cheese for topping

Steps:

  • For the wings, pat them as dry, which helps with the crispiness. Add them to a large bowl.
  • Add seasoning mixture and toss to coat.
  • Heat your oven to 250 degrees F. Set the wings onto a lightly oiled baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes. Flip the wings.
  • Increase oven heat to 425 degrees and bake for another 30 minutes, or until the wings are cooked through and the skins are nice and crispy. You can also hit them with the broiler a couple minutes to crisp them up even more.
  • Toss the hot wings with the honey-bbq sauce. Top with crumbly white cheese and serve with ranch dressing.

1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
20 chicken wings, or drumettes
1 cup BBQ sauce
½ cup honey

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a bowl, combine flour, chili powder, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Coat the wings in the flour evenly, shaking off any excess.
  • Place the floured wings on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and spread them out in a single layer.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until skin is crispy and golden brown.
  • Preheat oven to 500°F (250°C).
  • In a separate bowl, combine the BBQ sauce and the honey. Stir the cooked wings in the sauce and coat them evenly.
  • Place the coated wings back onto the baking sheet and spread them in a single layer.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until sauce is bubbly and caramelized. Cool, then serve.

½ cup teriyaki sauce
1 cup oyster sauce
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup ketchup
2 tablespoons garlic powder
¼ cup gin
2 dashes liquid smoke flavoring
½ cup white sugar
1 ½ pounds chicken wings, separated at joints, tips discarded
¼ cup honey

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, mix the teriyaki sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic powder, gin, liquid smoke, and sugar. Place the chicken wings in the bowl, cover, and marinate in the refrigerator 8 hours or overnight.
  • Preheat the grill for low heat.
  • Lightly oil the grill grate. Arrange chicken on the grill, and discard the marinade. Grill the chicken wings on one side for 20 minutes, then turn and brush with honey. Continue grilling 25 minutes, or until juices run clear.

1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/3 cup cider vinegar
3 tablespoons vegetable oil, plus more for grill
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
4 pounds chicken wings (12 whole wings)

Steps:

  • 1. Whisk the chili, sugar, cayenne, vinegar, 3 tablespoons oil, 1 tablespoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper in a bowl to make a thick paste. Put half the paste in a large re-sealable plastic bag.
  • 2. Remove the wing tips and discard. Pat the wings dry. Add the wings to the bag and seal. Toss the wings in a bag to evenly coat with the mixture. Marinate at room temperature 30 minutes or refrigerate up to 2 hours.
  • 3. Preheat a grill over medium-high heat. Lightly brush the grill grate with oil. Evenly arrange the wings on the grill, cook until crisp and just cooked through, 4 to 5 minutes per side. Brush the wings with the reserved rub and continue to grill until glazed, about 2 minutes more. Transfer the wings to a platter. Serve.
