Easy Chicken or Beef Marinade image

The perfect blend of seasoning and spices. Great to use on many types of chicken and could be used on steak tips, too!

1 (16 ounce) bottle fat-free Italian salad dressing
½ cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and ground black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Whisk salad dressing, soy sauce, ground ginger, garlic powder, salt, and pepper together in a bowl.

Number Of Ingredients 8

3/4 cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons kosher salt
3 tablespoons paprika
3 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons onion powder
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon dried oregano

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients. Transfer to an airtight container. Store in a cool dry place up to 1 year.

I was asked for a recipe for beef style seasoning and found this yummy version. This recipe comes from the Vegan Recipe Box.

1 2/3 cups nutritional yeast
2 tablespoons onion powder
1 tablespoon salt
1/2 teaspoon celery seed (I grind in spice grinder)
1 tablespoon italian seasoning
1/4 cup dried parsley (original recipe calls for 1/2 cup)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cumin (optional)

Steps:

  • Mix all together and keep in a jar with a tight fitting lid. Will keep indefinately. Great replacement for beef seasoning.
