I got this recipe from a friend Lynn when we hosted a BBQ for our families (we shared an apartment a few years after college). My family loved this recipe. It's perfect for summer and eating outside, but wait to bring it out into the heat until you are ready to eat.

1 1/2 cups thin pretzels, crushed (crush them before you measure)
3 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
8 ounces light cream cheese
12 ounces Cool Whip (light or fat free is fine)
3/4 cup sugar
2 cups boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
6 ounces strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
20 ounces strawberries, sliced (fresh or frozen, I used closer to 10 oz)

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place pretzels in ziplock bag and crush into small pieces using rolling pin. Measure pretzels after crushing.
Mix together pretzels, 3 tbsp sugar, and butter.
Pat pretzel mixture into a 9 x 11 pan and bake for 10 minutes.
When the crust is cool, mix cream cheese, 3/4 cup sugar and Cool Whip together and spread on crust.
Bring 2 cups water to a boil and stir in strawberry Jello. Add cold water and mix well.
Add strawberries.
Let mixture set until slightly thickened, then pour over cream cheese mixture.
Refrigerate until jello is firm.

2 cups unsalted pretzels, crushed
¾ cup melted margarine
3 tablespoons white sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping (such as Cool Whip®), thawed
1 (3 ounce) package strawberry-flavored gelatin (such as Jell-O®)
1 (3 ounce) package raspberry-flavored gelatin mix (such as Jell-O®)
2 cups boiling water
2 cups mixed frozen berries

Steps:

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Mix crushed pretzels, margarine, and 3 tablespoons sugar together in a bowl. Press into a 9x9-inch baking dish in a flat layer.
Bake in the preheated oven for 8 minutes. Remove and let cool thoroughly, 20 to 30 minutes.
Cream 1 cup sugar with cream cheese in a bowl; fold in whipped topping. Spread on top of cooled crust.
Mix strawberry and raspberry gelatin mixes with boiling water until thoroughly dissolved. Stir in frozen berries until distributed. Pour over whipped topping mixture. Chill until set, about 2 hours.

2 cups crushed pretzels
3/4 cup melted butter
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3 tablespoons sugar
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
8 ounces Cool Whip, thawed
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon grated fresh lemon rind
6 ounces berry gelatin
2 cups boiling water
2 (10 ounce) packages frozen berries (strawberries, blackberries, whatever sounds good to you!)

Steps:

Mix together the crushed pretzels, melted butter, cinnamon, and the sugar.
Press into a 9"x13" pan and bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes.
Mix together the softened cream cheese, Cool Whip, sugar, vanilla, and grated lemon rind.
Spread on the cooled crust in pan.
Dissolve the jello in the boiling water and mix in the frozen berries.
Carefully pour into pan and refrigerate until set.

The combination of salty and sweet in this classic dessert is sure to be the hit of any party or potluck!

Ingredients

1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
2.5 cups pretzel
6 ounces rapberry jello
2 cups water
8 ounces sliced strawberry
8 ounces cream cheese
8 ounces Cool Whip

Steps:

Bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
Remove from heat and quickly dissolve the raspberry jello.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Crush pretzels (you can use a sealed plastic bag and a rolling pin, but I like to use a food processor)
Combine with sugar and melted butter.
Press into the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish.
Bake for 10 minutes.
While baking, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
Remove from heat and dissolve jello mix.
Layer sliced strawberries on top of pretzel crust.
Pour jello mixture on top.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate four hours.
After it has solidified, remove from refrigerator.
Combine softened cream cheese and cool whip and spread on top.
Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
