BEST EVER SAUCY BEEF KABOBS
This is a five-star recipe that combines the great taste of grilled beef kabobs with a delicious tomato sauce baste. I always double the sauce to top the beef and veggies over rice. A mouth-watering meal.

Steps:
- In a saucepan over low heat, mix the tomato juice, butter, onion, ketchup, mustard, salt, paprika, pepper, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Simmer for 30 minutes, remove from heat, and allow to cool.
- Preheat grill for medium heat.
- Thread the sirloin cubes, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, onion quarters, and green pepper pieces onto skewers, alternating as desired. Drizzle some of the sauce over the kabobs.
- Oil the grill grate. Arrange kabobs on the grill. Grill 10 minutes, or until meat is cooked through, occasionally turning kabobs. Baste with sauce during the last 5 minutes.

TENDER BEEF KABOBS (SHASHLIK) RECIPE
The key to great kabobs is to give your meat plenty of time to marinate and don't rush it! I like to marinate at least 4 to 6 hours.

- Combine all of your marinade ingredients in a large glass or plastic bowl (do not use aluminum) and stir to combine.
- Slice meat and transfer it into the marinade bowl, stirring well to coat. Marinate beef in the refrigerate4 to 6 hours, stirring a few times while marinating to make sure meat is evenly marinated. Note: Sometimes after long periods of refrigeration, the oil in the marinade can firm up a bit; it will liquify again if you let the marinated meat sit at room temp 30 minutes before skewering.
- Soak bamboo or wooden skewers at last 30 min. After the meat is done marinating, slice veggies and skewer them with meat onto Bamboo skewers. Brush/ pour remaining marinade over skewers.
- Grill over med/high heat for about 8-10 minutes or until you've reached the desired doneness, rotating every 2-3 minutes for even grilling. Remove kebobs from grill and let them rest at least 5 minutes before eating. If you cut into them right away, they will juice out and end up dry. Serve with your favorite steak sauce
BEEF KEBABS
Steps:
- In a large bowl whisk together canola oil, garlic, yogurt, cumin, salt, pepper and hot sauce. Reserve half the marinade, in a covered bowl, and refrigerate. Add beef cubes to remaining marinade, cover and refrigerate for anywhere from 30 minutes to overnight.
- Preheat grill pan or outdoor grill to medium high heat. Be sure to oil the grill surface before grilling the kebabs.
- Thread beef cubes and onion pieces onto skewers, alternating 3 pieces of beef and onion per skewer. Set aside extra beef cubes for another use. Place skewers on the grill pan and cook 3 to 4 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
- Place kebabs on a serving platter along with Spicy Couscous. Drizzle with some of the reserved marinade and serve.
- Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Saute garlic with red pepper flakes for 2 minutes being careful not to burn garlic. Add the chicken broth, turn up heat to medium-high and bring to a boil. Stir in couscous, cover and remove from the heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and fluff with fork. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve.
BEVERLY'S FAVORITE BEEF KEBABS
Ordinary yellow mustard gives a distinctive flavor to the marinade for these beef kebabs. The heavenly smell that fills your kitchen while you make the marinade lets you know it's going to be good. Serve with assorted grilled vegetables (like cherry tomatoes, zucchini, mushrooms, bell pepper, and corn on the cob), and baked potatoes. Beverly is the food editor of the local paper- her father used to grill these. Recommended for Father's Day menu.

- Make the marinade:.
- Pour the oil into a 2-cup measure. Add the soy sauce. Squeeze the lemon juice through a small strainer (to catch the seeds) into the measuring cup. Add the Worcestershire sauce, mustard and black pepper. Whisk to blend well. Peel and coarsely chop the garlic; stir it into the oil mixture.
- Place the beef cubes in a 1-gallon freezer-weight, zipper-top plastic bag. Whisk the marinade again to recombine. Pour the marinade into the bag with the beef. Seal the bag and gently shake to coat the meat with marinade. Place the bag flat in the refrigerator to marinate 8 to 24 hours. Turn the bag over once halfway through, or more often if possible.
- Place about four cubes on each skewer (depending on the size of the cubes), leaving a little space between the cubes for even cooking. Place the kebabs on a plate or tray. Discard the marinade. (The prepared kebabs may be refrigerated, covered, up to 6 hours).
- Turn on a gas grill to medium-high. Grill the kebabs, turning frequently, to desired doneness. Cooking times will vary depending on the size of the meat cubes and the grill. (In our testing, we found 7 to 8 minutes produced medium-rare meat for 1 1/4-inch to 1 1/2-inch cubes). Serve at once.
- Note: If using bamboo skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before assembling the kebabs, so the skewers don't scorch on the grill. The number of skewers you will need depends on the size of your meat cubes. Cubes typically weigh about 1 ounce each, and we serve four cubes of meat per person for average appetites.
- Start to finish: 15 minutes preparation, plus 8 to 24 hours unattended marinating time and 7 to 8 minutes grilling time.

MOM'S BEEF SHISH KABOBS
My Mom has cooked this recipe for as long as I remember. Now that I live on my own, I can't wait to go back home over the holidays to have this excellent dish. Mom would probably be upset that I gave it away, but it is so delicious that I think everyone should have a chance to experience it. Technically shish kabobs use lamb, so these should be called beef kabobs, but this is the family recipe and what we call it.

- Whisk the vegetable oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, black pepper, and salt together in a bowl; pour into a resealable plastic bag. Add the beef, coat with the marinade, squeeze out excess air, and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator 8 hours or overnight.
- Add the mushrooms to the bag, coat with the marinade, squeeze out excess air, and reseal the bag; marinate in the refrigerator another 8 hours.
- Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat, and lightly oil the grate.
- Remove the beef and mushrooms from the marinade, shaking off any excess liquid. Pour the marinade into a small saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer for 10 minutes; set aside for basting.
- Thread pieces of green bell pepper, beef, red bell pepper, mushroom, and onion onto metal skewers, repeating until all ingredients are skewered.
- Cook the skewers on the preheated grill, turning frequently and brushing generously with the reserved marinade until nicely browned on all sides and the meat is no longer pink in the center, about 15 minutes.

BEEF KEBAB WITH GARLIC SAUCE RECIPE BY TASTY

- In a re-sealable freezer bag, add beef, garlic, coriander, cumin, paprika, white vinegar, and olive oil. Seal the bag and distribute seasonings. Allow to marinate in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
- In a food processor, add garlic cloves and pulse until the garlic becomes finely minced.
- Add salt and pulse until well incorporated. Scrape down the sides of the bowl if you see the garlic building up on the sides.
- Turn on the food processor and keep it on. In a thin stream pour ½ cup (120 ml) of oil followed by ½ tsp of lemon juice. Keep alternating until you have used all of the oil and lemon juice. The garlic sauce should become light, fluffy and creamy.
- Store garlic sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week!
- Preheat the grill on high.
- To assemble the kebabs, spray skewers with non-stick cooking spray and alternate threading beef, onions and bell peppers onto the skewer.
- Cook 5-7 minutes on each side.
- Serve kebabs with garlic sauce, salad, rice, hummus, and pita bread.
- Enjoy!
