Ingredients

1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 egg well beaten
3 Tbsp. honey
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/3 cup blanched almonds, chopped

Steps:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8x8 pan with shortening or spray with cooking oil. Melt margarine in a small sauce pan and remove from heat. Add the brown sugar and honey to the saucepan and stir until combined. Stir in egg and mix well. Combine flour and baking powder, then stir into the brown sugar mixture. Add vanilla and fold in almonds. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes. Let cool completely before cutting.

1 cup chunky peanut butter
2 cups powdered milk

Steps:

Melt honey and peanut butter together in microwave. Add dry powdered milk and knead well. Roll out on wax paper. Cut in strips and roll. Wrap in wax paper to store.

I have been making this cocktail for years but be careful this will hit you when you least expect it. I am using oz. measurements but it is actually equal parts depending on whether you are serving over ice or as a shooter. This tastes just like the old Bit-O-Honey candy bar

1 ounce irish cream (Bailey's)
1 ounce schnapps (Buttershot)

Steps:

Mix equal parts of Baily's and Schnapps.
Either pour over ice or drink as a shooter.

Ingredients

2 cups melted honey
1 cup cream
1 cup sugar
butter (or butter-flavored cooking spray)

Steps:

Combine the first 3 ingredients and cook slowly on medium heat until it forms a hard ball when you drop it into ice water. It took me about an hour. As the mixture gets close to being done, the bubbles from the boil will get a lot smaller and closer together. Pour the mixture onto a buttered cooking sheet. When cooled, pull with buttered hands. Stretch, twist and pull until firm (this is the fun part! ;)) and then form into long ropes and place on waxed paper. Cut into bite size pieces. If you want, you can roll them in powdered sugar and wrap them in wax paper.
