1 clove garlic, peeled
1 jalapeño chile, halved, seeded
2 cans (15 oz each) Progresso™ black beans, drained, rinsed
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
3/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 cup sour cream
Tortilla chips, if desired

Steps:

  • In food processer, place garlic and jalapeño. Cover; process until finely chopped. Add beans, oil, cilantro, chili powder, salt and cumin. Cover; process until smooth.
  • Spoon 1/4 cup dip into small resealable food-storage plastic bag; seal bag. Spread remaining dip in 9-inch round (2-quart) glass baking dish. Spread sour cream over dip. Cut off tiny corner of plastic bag. Twist bag above dip; squeeze bag to pipe spiderweb over dip. Pull knife through spiderweb, from center to edge, to complete design. Serve with tortilla chips.

One 15.25-ounce box chocolate cake mix (plus required ingredients)
Nonstick cooking spray, for the bowl and parchment
16 ounces bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
16 chocolate cream-covered biscuit sticks, such as Pocky
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1/3 cup chocolate or vanilla frosting
6 candy eyes
1 tube store-bought red decorating icing
Red sanding sugar, for decorating
3 cups mini marshmallows
2 tablespoons chocolate sprinkles
One 11.75-ounce jar strawberry ice cream topping

Steps:

  • Prepare the chocolate cake according to the package directions in two 8-inch cake pans and let cool completely.
  • Spray an 8-inch bowl with cooking spray. Line it with plastic wrap as neatly as possible and spray the wrap with cooking spray. Put in the freezer until very cold.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment and spray with cooking spray. Microwave the chocolate in a medium microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between each, until melted, about 3 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes.
  • Cut off 1 inch from the chocolate ends of 8 biscuit sticks, so you have 8 short and 8 regular-size sticks total. In same-length pairs, dip the chocolate ends into the melted chocolate and lay them on the prepared baking sheet so that they overlap slightly in the shape of a V. Refrigerate until set.
  • Stir the coconut oil into the remaining chocolate.
  • Remove the prepared bowl from the freezer and brush the inside with 1/4 cup of the chocolate, then refreeze until firm, about 10 minutes. Repeat 4 more times, each time making sure the chocolate goes all the way to the rim of the bowl and doesn't pool in the bottom. Freeze until solid, about 30 minutes.
  • Put one cake layer in the bowl of a food processor and pulse to fine crumbs. Add the frosting and pulse until it just comes together. Form into a ball that is slightly flattened on the bottom where it will sit on the platter, and freeze for 30 minutes. Remove from the freezer and brush to coat with the chocolate mixture. Refreeze for 15 minutes, then repeat 2 more times. On the final time, affix the eyes to the ball in the shape of a horseshoe. Attach a small round piping tip (1S or 2) to the tube of red decorating icing, and outline each eye with icing.
  • Fill the chocolate-lined bowl with the marshmallows. Top with the remaining cake layer and then flip it out onto a large serving platter. Remove the plastic wrap from the chocolate dome. Arrange the head so it touches the chocolate dome body. Drizzle the body with the remaining chocolate mixture and sprinkle with the chocolate sprinkles. Make a black widow marking by piping a red hourglass on the upper third of the body close to the head. Sprinkle it with red sanding sugar. Position 4 biscuit stick legs on each side of the body, making sure the 2 shorter ones go in the middle; gently push the legs into the dome about 1 inch.
  • When ready to serve, heat the strawberry topping in a small saucepan over medium heat until it boils. Slowly pour it over the spider's body to reveal all the eggs inside. Then run, screaming for your life.

Two 8-ounce packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1/4 cup salsa
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
3 cups blue corn chips, finely crushed
2 olives
16 green beans, ends trimmed
Cut raw vegetables, tortilla chips or crackers, for serving

Steps:

  • In a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, combine the cream cheese, Cheddar, Monterey Jack cheese, butter, salsa and some salt and pepper and beat until smooth. Alternatively, mix all the ingredients in a large bowl with a spoon. Reserve 1/3 cup of the dip and wrap in plastic wrap.
  • Make 2 balls with the remaining dip, one twice as big as the other, wrap in plastic, and shape into balls. Refrigerate all three portions of the cheese until hardened and cold, 2 to 3 hours.
  • Unwrap the two balls and coat in the crushed tortilla chips. Place on a platter directly next to each other and make eyes in the smaller ball with 2 olives. To make the legs, arrange 8 green beans to stick out of the "spider's" side, then place a small ball made out of the reserved 1/3 cup dip on the end of each bean and connect another bean to each ball to make long legs.
  • Serve with vegetables, crackers or tortilla chips.

¼ small red onion, finely chopped (about ¼ cup)
¼ medium tomato, finely chopped (about ¼ cup)
¼ cup packed fresh cilantro
1 tbsp. GOYA® Minced Garlic
1 tbsp. chopped GOYA® Fancy Pimiento
¾ tsp. GOYA® Ground Cumin
2 tbsp. GOYA® Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tbsp. GOYA® Lemon Juice
4 tbsp. yogurt, greek, plain, nonfat (for the spider web)
GOYA® Adobo Light All-Purpose Seasoning with Pepper to taste, optional

Steps:

  • Step 1 In bowl of blender or food processor, combine beans, onions, tomatoes cilantro, garlic, pimientos, cumin, olive oil and lemon juice. Puree until smooth, about 2 minutes. Step 2 Transfer bean dip to bowl; season with Adobo Light, to taste. Step 3 Suggestion: serve with Spooky Tortilla Chips recipe. FOR THE SPIDER WEB DECORATION: Place yogurt in a small re-sealable food storage bag and seal the bag. Cut tiny corner from bag and pipe the yogurt in a concentric circle design over the dip. Run a tip of plastic knife through yogurt to make "spider web" look.

2 tablespoons Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 egg
12 craft sticks (flat wooden sticks with round ends)
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened dark baking cocoa
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon light corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons black sanding sugar
12 red candy-coated chocolate candies

Steps:

  • In medium bowl, stir cookie mix, flour, butter and egg until dough forms. Shape dough into a ball and flatten slightly. Wrap in plastic wrap; refrigerate 1 hour.
  • Heat oven to 375°F. Unwrap dough. On lightly floured surface, roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut with 4-inch spider-shaped cookie cutter. On ungreased cookie sheet, place cutouts 2 inches apart. Insert craft stick halfway into center of each cookie.
  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool 5 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely.
  • In small bowl, mix powdered sugar and cocoa. Add milk, corn syrup and vanilla; mix with whisk until smooth. Pipe frosting onto cookies. Sprinkle with sanding sugar. Place 1 candy in center of each cookie.

Steps:

  • Cut licorice into 96 pieces, about 1/2 in. long. Using a toothpick, poke one licorice piece about 1/8 in. into a candy. Repeat seven times to make eight spider legs. Repeat with remaining licorice pieces and candy., Melt chips in a microwave or heavy saucepan; stir until smooth. Transfer to a heavy-duty resealable plastic bag; cut a small hole in a corner of bag. Pipe two small dots on one candy and immediately place one nonpareil on each dot to create eyes. Repeat with remaining candies., Pipe a web on each chocolate wafer.
