8 ounces tomato or vegetable juice, such as V8
3 ounces vodka, such as Tito's
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
Pinch celery seed
Pinch kosher salt
4 ounces club soda
Goat cheese
2 cherry peppers
2 hot and spicy pickle spears
Salami, cut into cubes
Pepperoncini
Celery stalks

Steps:

  • Add the tomato juice, vodka, Worcestershire, hot sauce, horseradish, celery seed and salt to a pitcher and mix well; add ice. Top with club soda before serving, then divide between 2 ice-filled large glasses.
  • For the garnish, push some goat cheese into each cherry pepper. Place 1 on each skewer with a pickle and add to the drinks. Add other garnishes such as salami cubes, pepperoncini and celery stalks and enjoy!

1 pound grape tomatoes, halved
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon Sherry vinegar
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
5 tablespoons finely grated fresh horseradish, divided
2 celery stalks, thinly sliced
3 tablespoons coarsely chopped celery leaves
6 tablespoons mayonnaise
6 slices toasted rye bread

Steps:

  • Combine lemon zest, lemon juice, shallot, tomatoes, oil, vinegar, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne, and 1 Tbsp. horseradish in a large bowl. Let marinate 10 minutes, then stir in celery stalks and leaves.
  • Meanwhile, combine mayonnaise and remaining 4 Tbsp. horseradish in a small bowl. Spread 1 Tbsp. horseradish-mayonnaise on each slice of rye. Top toasts evenly with tomato mixture.

salt and pepper to taste
1 stalk celery
2 stuffed green olives

Steps:

  • Salt the rim of a tall glass. To do so, pour salt onto a small plate, moisten the rim of the glass on a damp towel and press into the salt. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  • In a cocktail mixer full of ice, combine the vodka, vegetable juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce, salt and pepper. Shake vigorously and strain into the glass. Garnish with a stalk of celery and olives stuck onto a toothpick.

1/2 pound Persian or English hothouse cucumbers, chopped
1 celery stalk, chopped
2 tablespoons prepared white horseradish
kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Sugar
2 tablespoons (or more) vodka
Lemon slices
Cucumber spears

Steps:

  • Purée 4 pounds chopped tomatoes, 1/2 pound chopped Persian or English hothouse cucumbers, 1 chopped celery stalk, and 2 tablespoons prepared white horseradish in a blender until smooth. Strain through a cheesecloth-lined fine-mesh sieve into a large bowl. Let drain, without stirring, until 3 cups of liquid are collected, about 2 hours; discard solids in strainer. Season to taste with kosher salt, freshly ground black pepper, and sugar.
