MARY'S BLUE RIBBON BANANA BREAD
Yum! This is an old-fashioned banana bread recipe that's delicious. It's a very basic recipe but so good. Reminds us of something our grandmother would make. This banana bread is moist and tender, slightly dense, and has a nice crust on the outside. This would be great for breakfast or a snack.

FAVORITE BANANA BLUEBERRY QUICK BREAD
This is so good and reminds me of a real moist kind of a sweet quick bread. Everybody asks for the recipe: this bread is moist, and easy to make too. Note: If you are using frozen blueberries, you can thaw them in the microwave for about 3 minutes. However, you need to increase the amount of blueberries to 3/4 cup.

BOY OR GIRL BANANA BREAD
Very yummy recipe my mom gave me. Been using it for 20 years. I got a blue ribbon at the fair when I was in 4-H. Bread with nuts is boy banana bread and without nuts is girl banana bread, my kids don't get that yet but prefer the girl banana bread. Store all your old bananas in the peel in the freezer and when you need some for bread pull them out, thaw, cut the end off and they slide out and work great in breads and muffins.

SERIOUSLY DELICIOUS BANANA BREAD
This is simply the best banana bread I have ever tasted. The sour cream keeps it moist. It was a blue ribbon winner at the Milwaukee fair. I bake it in tin foil loaf pans, as my oven is hot. It is a 1935 recipe.

BANANA BREAD RECIPE-THE BEST ONE
When the season arrives, you need to whip up a batch of this simple banana bread. It's insanely delicious. Firm, dense, yet moist. There are no fancy ingredients and spices, so it has a bold banana flavor. Cut a slice and enjoy. With or without the frosting, it's so good.

Steps:
- Cream sugar, salt, and butter (or margarine) with a beater.
- Then add the 2 eggs and 3 mashed bananas to the above mixture and blend well.
- In a separate bowl, add baking soda plus the flour. Sift and mix.
- Add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture (of sugar, salt, butter, and banana mixture). Mix all until just blended. Then add the chopped nuts.
- Pour batter into a greased loaf pan. Bake at 325 degrees for about 1 hour or until brown. You can stick a toothpick into the center and if it comes out clean, it's done. Do not overbake. Start checking with a toothpick as soon as it starts looking a little brown which will be at one hour.
- I like to drizzle a little powered sugar frosting over the top while it is still warm, or just spread a little butter over the top instead. I prefer, the drizzle of frosting; however. It is a wonderful bread and the best banana bread I have ever eaten. My grandmother clipped it out of the Omaha World Herald newspaper around 1958.
