MAPLE BLUEBERRY TURKEY SAUSAGE BREAKFAST PATTIES
Sweet & savory paleo maple blueberry turkey sausage breakfast patties with delicious spices and juicy blueberries in every bite. Serve these incredible turkey sausage patties with fried eggs for the ultimate high-protein low carb breakfast!

Steps:
- Place all ingredients besides the blueberries and oil in a large bowl and use your hands to mix until well combined. Add in blueberries and gently incorporate them into the meat. Form into 8 even sized patties, about 1/3 inch thick. Make sure the blueberries are tucked into the meat or they may pop out upon cooking.
- Add 1 teaspoon coconut oil to a nonstick skillet and place over medium heat. Add turkey patties and cook for about 5 minutes then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes or until fully cooked.
- To prepare a plate, pair two breakfast patties with 2 fried eggs. Drizzle sausage patties with just a tiny bit of maple syrup and enjoy! Serves 4, 2 patties each.

- Mix together ground pork, kosher salt, black pepper, sage, thyme, rosemary, nutmeg, cayenne pepper, and red pepper flakes in a bowl. Knead with hands until thoroughly incorporated. Form into 8 patties.
- Place patties into a skillet over medium heat; cook until browned, 8 to 10 minutes. Flip patties and continue to cook until fully cooked through, 5 to 8 more minutes.

- Mix everything except for the blueberries and coconut oil together in a large bowl. Once evenly mixed, gently mix in the blueberries. Form into 8 patties. Cook in either one of the two methods below:
- Heat the coconut oil in a large pan over medium heat. Place the patties in the pan and cook for 5 min a side or until cooked all the way through (no pink remains).
- You can alternatively cook these in the oven at 350 F for 20 minutes or until cooked through (no pink remains). They won’t brown like they will in the pan, but it’s more hands-off.
