GRILLED TENDER JUICY BONELESS BEEF RIBS



Grilled Tender Juicy Boneless Beef Ribs image

You don't have to be a diehard pitmaster to make tender juicy boneless beef ribs. All you need is a little time, a grill and some foil.

1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 cup beef broth
2 tbsp Tabasco sauce
3 tbsp honey
3 lbs boneless beef ribs

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, vinegar, broth, Tabasco sauce and honey. Place the ribs in a zip-top bag. Pour the marinade inside and rub to coat. Seal the bag and let marinate at least 4 hours.
  • Heat the grill to high. Place the ribs on direct heat and sear on each side for five minutes. Discard the extra marinade.
  • Move the ribs to indirect heat (For a gas grill, turn the heat off on one side and move the ribs to that side. For a charcoal grill, push the coals to one side and move the ribs to the side with no coals.). Close the lid and grill for 30 minutes.
  • Wrap the ribs in foil and continue grilling for 2 hours. The internal temperature of the grill should be kept at 275 degrees.
  • Open the foil pouch and place the ribs on a platter. Pour the broth from the foil pouch over the ribs and serve.

1 family-size package boneless beef ribs, enough for 4 servings
One 7-ounce bottle BBQ dry rub (recommended: Iron Works BBQ Dry Rub)
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Your favorite barbecue sauce, optional

Steps:

  • Pound the boneless beef ribs to tenderize. Rub 3 to 4 tablespoons dry rub into each rib. Sprinkle garlic and pepper over each rib and let marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat a grill to 250 degrees F. Grill ribs for 10 minutes, then turn ribs and grill on other side for 10 minutes or until cooked to desired degree of doneness. Pour barbecue sauce over ribs after grilling, if desired, and serve.

2 pounds beef short ribs
⅓ cup soy sauce
¾ cup red wine
½ cup olive oil
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
¼ cup brown sugar
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 pinch curry powder

Steps:

  • Place the ribs in a large pot, and fill with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil, and cook until the meat is no longer pink, about 20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). In a medium bowl, stir together the soy sauce, red wine, olive oil, flour, brown sugar, garlic and curry powder.
  • Drain the ribs, and coat generously with the sauce. Arrange them on a baking sheet.
  • Roast for about 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until fork tender. Pour the remainder of the sauce over the ribs about halfway through.

These are the best tasting beef ribs I have ever had in my entire life. This recipe was given to me by a dear friend, which was passed on to her in her family. I usually double this recipe when I make it. It's great in the oven or in the crockpot! I like to use the boneless beef spare ribs.

2 lbs boneless ribs
1 cup dark brown sugar
1/3 cup ketchup
3/4 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup whiskey
2 tablespoons ground mustard
1 tablespoon instant minced onion
pepper

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a large pot and bring to a slow boil. Simmer for 45 minutes.
  • Double wrap ribs in aluminum foil, place in a 9x13-inch baking dish and bake for 1 1/2 hours in a 350°F oven.
  • Remove ribs from the aluminum foil.
  • Place ribs and sauce in a roaster and bake uncovered for 45 minutes in a 350°F oven.
