- Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook and stir sausage, broccoli and onion 5-6 minutes or until broccoli is crisp-tender., Add tomatoes, basil, parsley and sugar. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, 8-10 minutes or until broccoli is tender. Drain pasta; add to skillet and heat through.

- Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook sausage, broccoli and onion over medium-high heat 5-6 minutes or until broccoli is crisp-tender., Add tomatoes, basil, parsley and sugar. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes. Add pasta; heat through.

- 1.) Stir Sauce Mix, hot water, milk, margarine and Potatoes in 12-inch skillet or 3-quart saucepan. Heat just to boiling, stirring occasionally.
- 2.) Add sausage and salsa; stir until well mixed. Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 20 minutes, stirring frequently.
- 3.) Stir in broccoli. Cover; cook 8 minutes longer or until potatoes and broccoli are tender (sauce will thicken as it stands).

- In a skillet, fry sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain, and reserve.
- In the same skillet, cook garlic in olive oil until golden.
- Meanwhile, bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook pasta in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes or until done; drain. Three minutes before the end of the cooking time, add broccoli; drain with pasta.
- In a large serving bowl, toss together the sausage, olive oil and garlic, cavatelli and broccoli, and Parmesan. Season with red pepper flakes.

- Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven or heavy-bottomed pot over medium-high heat. Add the sausage and cook until browned, breaking up with a wooden spoon, about 8 minutes.
- Add the broccoli, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper and stir to combine.
- Add the pasta and chicken stock and bring to a boil. Cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring constantly, until the liquid is absorbed and the pasta is tender. Add the Parmesan and stir to incorporate.
- Divide the pasta between serving bowls and garnish with more Parmesan.
- Enjoy!

GARLIC SAUSAGE AND BROCCOLI LINGUINE
I found this recipe in one of those little pamphlets that you can pick up at the supermarket. I made it for dinner last night and it is so tasty! It brings to mind some of the dishes I like to eat when I visit the Chinese buffet, but it is made with Italian sausage and olive oil, ingredients one doesn't find in Chinese cuisine. Garlic sauce can be purchased at any supermarket that has a Chinese food section and comes in three strengths: mild, medium and strong, depending on how much you like garlic. I used medium and it was perfect for our taste.

Steps:
- Heat the oil and brown the sausage in a large frying pan for 10 minutes.
- Add the tomato paste and cook for 2 minutes, then add the peppers, onion and broccoli and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook the pasta in a pot of boiling, well-salted water.
- Add the garlic sauce to the sausage mixture and continue to cook for 5 minutes longer.
- Drain the pasta well and add to the frying pan with the sausage mixture.
- Stir well for 2 minutes to allow the pasta to soak up some of the sauce.
