It was my first year cooking Christmas dinner for the family and I was just thinking of imaginative vegetables I could have! Turned out great and everyone loved them and have been cooking them ever since. Goes well with everything.

Steps:
- Heat a frying pan over medium heat until hot, 3 minutes. Melt 1 tablespoon butter; cook and stir garlic until fragrant, 30 seconds. Add 1 tablespoon butter and Brussels sprouts, cut-side down; cover and cook until golden brown, 4 to 6 minutes.
- Flip Brussels sprouts; add 1 tablespoon butter. Cover and cook until other side is browned, about 3 more minutes. Transfer to a serving plate. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper.

Steps:
- Remove the stem from each sprout and cut in half. Place the brussels sprouts in a large bowl.
- Add the rest of the ingredients to the bowl and toss to cover.
- Spread the sprouts onto a baking sheet.
- Bake in a 400˚F (200˚C) oven for 20 minutes.
- Flip the sprouts, then bake for an additional 20 minutes or until the sprouts are fork-tender and golden.
- Enjoy!

- Pre-heat oven to 400Cut bacon into small pieces.

- With a small knife trim the base and discard the outer layer of leaves. Score an X in the center of the base for each sprout.
- Steam for about 5 minutes or until tender. Place cooked sprouts into a bowl and season with salt and pepper to taste.

- Heat oil in large ovenproof skillet on medium-high heat. Add Brussels sprouts; cook and stir 3 to 5 min. or until crisp and evenly browned. Remove from heat.
- Bring water, dressing and garlic powder to boil in saucepan on medium heat, stirring frequently. Remove from heat. Add shredded cheese; stir until melted. Add to Brussels sprouts; mix lightly. Sprinkle with Parmesan.

- Fry the bacon in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat until crispy. Use a slotted spoon to transfer to a paper towel lined plate to soak up some of the oil. Set aside.

- Add in the garlic and stir it through the sprouts for a minute, until fragrant. Pour in the cream, reduce heat down to low and allow them to simmer until tender (another 3-4 minutes).
