Cake Batter Frozen Yogurt image

This cake batter frozen yogurt recipe is rich, creamy, and tastes more like ice cream than it does frozen yogurt. This homemade frozen yogurt recipe is the perfect guilt-free summer snack.

2 1/2 cups vanilla greek yogurt
8 oz cream cheese (softened)
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp almond extract (optional*)
3/4 cup dry cake mix (yellow, white, funfetti)
1/4 cup sugar (optional*)
3/4 cup sprinkles

Steps:

  • In a bowl, mix all ingredients together. Once combined, pour into your ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer's instructions. For my Cuisinart, it took about 20-25 minutes to bring this to my desired consistency.
  • Eat right away, or store in a freezer container for a midnight snack!

  • Transfer to an 8x8-inch (20x20 cm) glass dish.
  • Freeze for at least 2 hours.
  • Enjoy!
