Head of cauliflower, cut into drumstick-like pieces
1 cup soy or almond milk
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon each: garlic salt, smoked paprika, and onion powder
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup Buffalo Sauce (like Frank's Hot)
2 tablespoons vegan butter, melted
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1/2 cup mayo (or vegan mayo)
1/4 cup soy milk
1/4 cup freshly chopped parsley
1 teaspoon dried dill
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • To do this, whisk together the mayo, soy milk, parsley, dill, garlic powder. Then, add a pinch of salt and season to taste, if needed. Set aside.
  • Next, heat the milk and cornstarch together in a medium saucepan until cornstarch has dissolved. Then, heat the milk over medium heat until slightly thickened, about 4-5 minutes, then set aside to let cool.
  • Then, place the air fryer tray into the Air Fryer and set to 7 minutes at 400 degrees F. Let cook, then flip/shake ~halfway through cooking.

Cauliflower Wings in Air-Fryer (ZERO OIL) served with a sweet and spicy Yum Yum Sauce is a perfect crowd pleasing game day appetizer that you can even serve at tailgate parties. Its just so delicious. You cannot tell that this is made in air-fryer. If you make this for the first time then you are in for a treat.

1 Head Cauliflower (cut into florets)
½ Cup Milk (can use any plant based milk)
½ Cup Water
¼ Cup All-Purpose Flour (can use gluten free flour )
1½ Teaspoon Garlic Powder
1½ Teaspoon Onion Powder
1 Teaspoon Smoked Paprika
Salt (as per taste)
½ Teaspoon Freshly Cracked Black Pepper
½ Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
½ Cup Panko Breadcrumbs
4 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
1 Tablespoon Tomato Ketchup
½ Teaspoon Garlic Powder
½ Teaspoon Smoked Paprika
2 Tablespoon Maple Syrup

Steps:

  • In a medium-sized bowl mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and freshly cracked black pepper.
  • Into the same bowl add milk and water. Mix well using a spoon until it is lump-free.
  • Add Panko Breadcrumbs and Grated parmesan cheese. Mix well. Place cauliflower florets into the mixture and toss with a spoon until evenly coated on all sides.
  • Place them into your Air-fryer and cook at 400F or 200C for 10-minutes. Then flip them over and cook the other side at 400F for another 5-8 minutes.
  • In a small bowl combine mayonnaise, tomato ketchup, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and maple syrup. Mix with a spoon until smooth. Your homemade Yum Yum Sauce is ready.
  • Coat each cauliflower floret in the sauce and serve immediately.

This garlicky cauliflower side dish gets a deliciously crispy coating of almonds, Parmesan, and thyme as it cooks in the air fryer.

3 teaspoons vegetable oil, divided
1 clove garlic, minced
⅓ cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese
¼ cup chopped almonds
¼ cup panko bread crumbs
½ teaspoon dried thyme, crushed

Steps:

  • Place cauliflower florets, 2 teaspoons oil, and garlic in a medium bowl; toss to coat. Place in a single layer in an air fryer basket.
  • Cook in the air fryer at 360 degrees F (180 degrees C), for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Return cauliflower to the bowl and toss with remaining 1 teaspoon oil. Add Parmesan cheese, almonds, bread crumbs, and thyme; toss to coat. Return cauliflower mixture to the air fryer basket and cook until mixture is crisp and browned, about 5 minutes more.

  • Make the buffalo sauce: Add melted butter and Franks Red Hot Sauce to a small bowl. Whisk to combine and set aside. If it thickens too much, microwave for 30 seconds and whisk again. Set aside.
  • In the large bowl, add the cauliflower and pour the buffalo sauce over the top. Toss gently to completely coat cauliflower; set aside.
  • Using a zip lock bag, panko bread crumbs, regular bread crumbs, and all seasonings; Shake to combine. Add about half of the coated cauliflower to the bag and toss/shake to coat the cauliflower. Using tongs, remove from the bag and place into the air fryer in a single layer. Repeat for the rest of the cauliflower. **Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook in 2 batches - do not overcrowd the bites!**
  • Cook at 400 degrees for 7 minutes. Remove tray and gently flip cauliflower or shake. Place tray back into unit and cook at 400 degrees for 5 more minutes. Remove and set aside. Cook second batch if needed.
