6 teaspoons Hidden Valley® Original Ranch Seasoning & Salad Dressing Mix Shaker
1 pound ground beef

Steps:

  • Preheat the grill or broiler.
  • In a large bowl, combine seasoning mix with the beef and cheese and mix with clean hands until incorporated. Shape the meat into four ¼ pound burgers about 1-inch thick. Grill the burgers about 5 minutes on each side for a medium-well burger.
  • Serve immediately on the hamburger buns.
  • Optional: top with lettuce, tomato, onion.Optional: top with your favorite bottled Hidden Valley® Ranch Secret Sauce for extra ranch flavor.

Olive oil, for brushing the grill
2 pounds ground sirloin
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
A few dashes hot sauce, such as Tabasco
8 fresh jalapenos
4 burger buns or kaiser rolls
For serving: ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, lettuce leaves. tomato slices and onion rings

Steps:

  • Prepare a grill for medium-high heat. Brush the grill with olive oil.
  • Put the sirloin, Cheddar, salt, pepper and hot sauce in a bowl and mix. Form into four 8-ounce patties. Grill the patties for 3 to 4 minutes, then flip and grill until cooked to desired doneness, another 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Meantime, grill the whole jalapenos for a few minutes until blackened. Grill the burger buns until lightly toasted.
  • Transfer the burgers to the buns. Serve with ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, onion rings and the grilled jalapenos on the side for everyone to assemble their own burgers.

3/4 cup panko bread crumbs
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3 garlic cloves, minced
3 teaspoons pepper
4 pounds ground chicken
3 tablespoons olive oil
16 hamburger buns, split
Optional toppings: Tomato slices, lettuce leaves, sliced red onion, sliced cucumber, sliced avocado and ranch dip

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, mix the first 6 ingredients. Add chicken; mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape mixture into sixteen 1/2-in.-thick patties. Brush both sides with oil; refrigerate, covered, 15 minutes to allow patties to firm up., Grill burgers, covered, over medium heat or broil 3-4 inches from heat 5-6 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 165°. I made up this recipe last night on a whim, and boy were they good!! We didn't have any buns and just ate them on toasted bread! (Didn't matter, they were awesome!)

1 1/2 lbs lean hamburger
1 (1 ounce) packet hidden valley ranch dressing mix
6 tablespoons barbecue sauce, more if needed and see note
1/2 lb bacon
1 teaspoon fresh coarse ground black pepper
3 slices marbled cheddar cheese
1 onion, thinly sliced
6 lettuce leaves
3 slices tomatoes
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
3 tablespoons prepared creamy ranch salad dressing
3 hamburger buns, lightly toasted

Steps:

  • In bowl, mix together the hamburger and dressing mix packet well.
  • Shape into 3 patties, set in fridge to chill and firm up.
  • Meanwhile, in large frying pan, cook bacon sprinkling with the pepper on both sides, drain grease saving 1-2 Tbl.
  • Set bacon aside wrapped in paper towel.
  • Fry hamburgers in same pan with a little bacon grease til done.
  • Coat with bbq sauce, top with cheddar slices, cover, heat til cheese is melted. Place on bottom buns, top with bacon, onion, lettuce and tomato.
  • Mix the prepared dressing with the mayo and spread on top buns, place on top.
  • *Note: I always use Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce. Other bbq sauces might not work well.

2 teaspoons garlic powder, divided
1 loaf (1 pound) French bread
1/2 cup butter, softened
6 slices provolone cheese
6 slices part-skim mozzarella cheese
1 jar (14 ounces) spaghetti sauce, warmed

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine beef and 1 teaspoon garlic powder. Shape into six thin patties. Pan-fry until no longer pink. Meanwhile, cut bread in half lengthwise. Combine butter and remaining garlic powder; spread over cut sides of bread. On the bottom half, layer provolone cheese, beef patties and the mozzarella cheese. Replace bread top. Wrap in a large piece of heavy-duty foil (about 28 in. x 18 in.). Place on a baking sheet. Bake at 375° for 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and sandwich is heated through. Cut loaf between each patty. Serve with spaghetti sauce for dipping.

2 jalapeñoes, minced
½ cup ranch dressing
2 lb ground beef
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons pepper
6 burger buns
12 pieces lettuce

Steps:

  • Combine cheese, bacon pieces, jalapeños, and ranch in a bowl. Stir together and refrigerate.
  • Season the ground beef with salt and pepper in a large bowl, and mix in with your hands.
  • Grab a baseball-sized piece of beef. Roll it with your hands into a ball and place on a parchment lined baking tray.
  • Using a clean, empty soda or beer can, press the ball of beef around the can to create a bowl. Make sure to smooth out any cracks.
  • Fill the bowls with the cheddar mixture and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • Preheat the grill to 350˚F (175˚C).
  • Cook burger bowls over indirect heat for 25-30 minutes.
  • Serve with or without a bun with your favorite toppings.
