Easy Garlic Cheese Bread - Texas Toast Garlic Bread image

Garlic Cheese Bread is the perfect appetizer or side dish for any meal! This Texas Toast Garlic Bread is nice and thick, and covered in butter, cheese, and garlic. Yum! Cheesy Garlic Bread is exactly what you need for BBQ, pasta, steak, or any meal you can think of.

3/4 cup Mayonnaise (real)
4 cups shredded Cheddar Jack Cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
1/4 cup Gourmet Garden Parsley
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup salted butter
1 tablespoon Gourmet Garden Chunky Garlic Paste
8 slices Texas Toast

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Place a crisping rack on a large baking sheet.
  • In a medium bowl, stir together the mayonnaise with the cheeses. Press down to combine and make smooth. Once smooth, add in the Gourmet Garden Parsley, seasoned salt, and pepper. Keep in the fridge while you continue prepping remaining ingredients.
  • Melt the butter in a small skillet over low heat. Add the Gourmet Garden Chunky Garlic Paste and stir to combine. Allow to saute for 2-3 minutes or until garlic is fragrant.
  • Lay the 8 slices of Texas Toast on the crisping rack/baking sheet. Brush liberally with the butter/garlic mixture.
  • Spoon the mayo/cheese mixture over each slice of bread and smooth out as much as possible.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until bread is toasted and cheese is melty/bubbly. You can also broil for a few minutes to crisp things up even more.
  • Sprinkle with more Gourmet Garden Parsley if desired.
  • Enjoy!

Steps:

  • Set oven control to broil. Spread butter on both sides of bread slices. Sprinkle both sides with seasoned salt. Sprinkle tops of bread with half of the cheese. Place on rack in broiler pan.
  • Broil with tops 4 to 6 inches from heat 2 minutes. Turn bread; sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  • Cut each slice diagonally in half. Serve warm or cool.

2 cups grated Monterey Jack
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
1/2 stick (4 tablespoons) butter, softened
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 crusty French loaf

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, combine the Cheddar, Monterey Jack, mayonnaise, Parmesan, butter, salt, pepper and seasoned salt.
  • Cut the loaf in half lengthwise, then into thirds or fourths. Evenly spread the cheese mixture onto the bread pieces. Wrap each piece in a foil "purse," leaving a little room at the top between the cheese and the foil.
  • The bread can either be frozen for later, or baked right away. If baking right away, place on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes. If cooking from frozen, bake on a baking sheet at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes.
