75 g sugar
175 g flour
25 g cocoa
50 g corn flakes
chocolate icing (your favorite recipe)
walnut halves

Steps:

  • soften butter, add sugar and beat to a cream.
  • add flour, cocoa and lastly cornflakes.
  • put spoonfuls onto a greased oven tray and bake about 15 minutes at 180C degrees.
  • when cold, ice with chocolate icing and put half a walnut on top.

Loved these as a child, and these one's are made with the old aussie favorite Weet-Bix. Lovely iced with chocolate icing.

220 g butter
90 g caster sugar
185 g sifted flour
1 tablespoon sifted cocoa
2 1/2 cups Weet-Bix

Steps:

  • Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add dry ingredients to butter mixture and place teaspoons of mixture onto greased baking sheets, pressing down slightly with a fork.
  • Bake at 180 c for 12- 15 minutes.
  • Ice with chocoalte icing when cold.

Number Of Ingredients 6

200g (7ozs) stork
75g (3ozs) sugar
175g (6ozs) plain flour
25g (1oz) cocoa
50g (2ozs) cornflakes
Chocolate icing and a walnut to decorate

Steps:

  • Cream butter and add sugar together using an electric beater.
  • Add flour and cocoa beat together, lastly add cornflakes beat together.
  • Grease a baking tray, and place a small golf ball sized ball of the mixture on the tray, then flatten with the back of a spoon.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes at 180C, leave to cool.
  • Once cool can ice with chocolate icing and a walnut, but I prefer not to!
