This Chocolate Cherry Amaretto Dip is sweet, creamy, and SO delicious! Perfect for Valentine's Day....or just because!

8 oz. cream cheese (softened)
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 Tbsp. amaretto liqueur
1/4 c. mini chocolate chips
1/3 c. maraschino cherries (halved or quartered)

Steps:

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and amaretto liqueur.
  • Beat on medium speed until smooth and creamy.
  • Stir in mini chocolate chips and maraschino cherries.
  • Serve with your favorite cookies!

1/3 cup milk
1/3 cup Amaretto
1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip
1 jello vanilla pudding mix (instant kind - French Vanilla works, also, 4-serving package)
fresh fruit

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, pour in pudding mix- add milk and stir (just to dissolve the mix).
  • Fold in Cool Whip until blended.
  • Add the Amaretto and stir all together.
  • Keep cool until serving- use any fresh fruit for dipping- Strawberries, grapes, and apples work great!

This was submitted by Sharon Kesner of the Lytell Insurance Agency, Woodbridge, Virginia. There is an overnight marination required.

1 (6 ounce) jar maraschino cherries, drained
1 cup Amaretto
1 cup chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Soak the cherries in the Amaretto overnight,.
  • Drain the cherries and dry them with paper towels.
  • Melt the chocolate in a micorwave for about 15 seconds and then mix. May need another 15 seconds.
  • Dip the cherries into the chocolate and enjoy!
