This easy cake can be put together in just minutes and combines the delicious flavors of strawberry and chocolate in a fudgey style cake.

Ingredients

42 ounces strawberry pie filling
15.25 Devil's Food Cake (*you will just be using the powder from it. Do not prepare as directed. )
¾ cup butter ((1 ½ sticks) unsalted, frozen, cut into thin pads.)
¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Steps:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. and grease your baking dish.
Add both cans of strawberry pie filling to the bottom of the dish; spread evenly.
Sprinkle and smooth on the dry cake mix. Firmly pat it into the strawberry.
Cover dry mix with pads of butter.
Bake for 55 minutes, remove from oven, and sprinkle on chocolate chips.
Serve warm with ice cream or enjoy as is!

1 (15.25 ounce) package chocolate cake mix
1 (3.9 ounce) package dry pudding mix
1 ½ cups whole milk
½ cup cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Dump cake mix into the prepared baking dish.
Dump dry pudding mix on top of the cake mix.
Drizzle milk over everything and mix to combine. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of mixture. Distribute butter evenly on top.
Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes.

cooking spray
1 pound fresh strawberries, diced
2 teaspoons sugar
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (15.25 ounce) package white cake mix
1 cup butter, melted
1 (21 ounce) can strawberry pie filling

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 9x13-inch dish with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
Sprinkle strawberries with sugar and let rest until strawberries release their juices, about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a large bowl, whip cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add strawberries to whipped cream cheese and mix until well combined.
Combine cake mix and melted butter in a separate bowl and mix until mixture comes together as a crumble.
Pour pie filling into the greased baking dish. Pour strawberry-cream cheese mixture on top. Evenly distribute crumble over pie filling.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack.
