PERFECT CHOCOLATE CHIP PIE

Steps:

• Please make sure the butter (or margarine) has been melted and then cooled.
• Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Mix cooled butter, eggs, vanilla, pecans and chocolate chips.
• In a separate bowl, mix together sugar and flour; add to the butter mixture.
• Pour into the unbaked pie shell.
• Bake for 30 minutes.

CHOCOLATE CHIP PIE

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
• Beat eggs in large mixer bowl on high speed until foamy. Beat in flour, sugar and brown sugar. Beat in butter. Stir in chips and nuts. Spoon into pie shell.
• Bake for 55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between outside edge and center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 325*.
• Beat eggs in large mixer bowl on high speed until foamy.
• Beat in flour, granulated sugar and brown sugar.
• Beat in butter.
• Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
• Spoon into pie shell.
• Bake for 55-60 minutes or until knife inserted half way between outside edge and center comes out clean.
• Cool on wire rack.
• Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, if desired.

CHUMMY YUMMY CHOCOLATE CHIP PIE

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 325°.
• Lightly butter a 9-in pie plate.
• Beat 1/2 cup of the melted butter and the sugar together in a large bowl.
• Add the eggs and vanilla, and mix thoroughly.
• Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt together.
• Add to the creamed mixture and mix together.
• Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. (The dough will resemble chocolate chip cookie dough.)
• Place the dough in the prepared pie plate. Flatten and smooth it out with a broad wooden spoon or your hand.
• Bake at 325° for 30 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
• Brush the pie with the remaining 1 tablespoon melted butter as soon as it comes from the oven.
• Cool and serve with ice cream and/or hot fudge sauce.
