  1. country-style pork ribs
  2. salt
  3. onion
  4. light brown sugar
  5. apple butter
  6. ketchup
  7. lemon juice
  8. orange juice
  9. steak sauce
  10. fresh coarse ground black pepper
  11. garlic
  12. worcestershire sauce
  13. fresh parsley


  1. cut ribs apart , if necessary , and trim excess fat
  2. sprinkle 1 teaspoons salt evenly over ribs
  3. stir together remaining 1 teaspoons salt , onion , and next 9 ingredients until blended
  4. pour half of onion mixture into a 5-qt
  5. slow cooker
  6. place ribs in slow cooker , and pour remaining mixture over ribs
  7. cover and cook on high 6 to 7 hours or until ribs are tender
  8. garnish , if desired
