KFC COLESLAW RECIPE
This KFC Coleslaw Recipe is as close as you can get without actually ordering it from the restaurant directly. The taste is simply perfect!

Steps:
- Chop the vegetables very fine: the cabbage, carrots, and onions are all chopped very fine, almost like the size of rice. You can chop them with a sharp knife, or if you have a food processor with a shredding attachment, use that and then finely chop with a sharp knife. (See note about using a pre-shredded coleslaw mix.)
- In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients for the dressing. Whisk until smooth.
- Add in cabbage, carrots, and onion; mix well until everything is thoroughly coated.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight. (If you have time - and can remember! - stir it occasionally. This will give you the absolute best results.) Stir again before serving and enjoy!

- In a large bowl, mix together, the milks, mayonnaise, sugar, lemon juice and vinegar. Add the onion, carrots and cabbage with salt and pepper. Toss to thoroughly coat the vegetables in the dressing.
- Cover and let chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours (or as many as 8) before serving.

- In food processor shred the cabbage.
- In large bowl, combine the cabbage, carrots, green pepper, and onion.
- Whisk together in a small bowl-the salad dressing, sugar, and vinegar.
- Pour over the coleslaw mixture, mix well.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight, stirring occasionally.

KENTUCKY COLESLAW
We love going to Kentucky Fried Chicken. Although we enjoy the chicken, we actually go for the coleslaw. We buy several pints at a time. I make several versions of cole slaw but we sometime just want this. I tried for several years before getting this recipe right. Creamy juicy coleslaw that the buddies at my significant other's work could not believe this was not from KFC. I have never found a recipe for the way I make it. I don't think it would be as juicy with real mayo, the sugar makes it juicy

- Finely Chop the Cabbage and put in large mixing bowl.
- Add the other ingredients and mix well.
- Put in a container and refrigerate covered. I use a half gallon plastic ice cream container. I find it best to sit over night or for several hours -- for the flavors to blend and allow the sugar to bring out the juices. I serve in tiny desert bowls as it is quite juicy.

We like KFC, I know they get a lot of bad comments but the cole slaw is still delicious so I will give you the secret recipe how to make your cole slaw tastes even better than theirs.

- 1. How to Make it: Mix together and add to your shredded coleslaw. Keeps up to 2 weeks. Other variations if you don't want it so sweet do only 1/4 cup of sugar. Use Balsamic Vinegar or Cider Vinegar. Add Sweet onion to it or Wala Wala Onion. If you are making a lot of coleslaw you might want to double this recipe.
- 2. First I put the cabbage and carrots through my food processor on fine chopping blade or shredder, depending on your machine and chop that up. Put into a big bowl to mix Then add diced onion and green pepper if you want it and mix gently Pour your dressing over cole slaw and mix and chill for at least an hour before serving Enjoy Good Food
JUST LIKE KFC COLESLAW - COPYCAT
I copied these ingredients from the KFC coleslaw container years ago. Yes, they did list Miracle Whip, not mayo! It always goes quick, but I never get any compliments when I bring it as a dish to pass because they all think that I just picked it up from KFC and put it in my own bowl! I use the bags of coleslaw mix from the produce section of my store and chop it in the food processor, but you can use a 1 lb head of cabbage, and a couple of carrots instead if you wish.
