LOADED CURLY-FRY NACHOS



Loaded Curly-Fry Nachos image

1 to 1 1/4 pounds frozen seasoned curly fries
1 1/2 cups shredded Colby-Monterey Jack blend
2 teaspoons cornstarch
3/4 cup half-and-half, plus more as needed
1/4 cup ranch dressing
1/4 cup crumbled cooked bacon
1/4 cup crumbled French-fried onions
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Sriracha, for dotting or drizzling

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven and bake the curly fries according to package directions.
  • Meanwhile, toss the cheese and cornstarch together in a small saucepan, then add the half-and-half. Cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, until melted and smooth, about 5 minutes. Add a little more half-and-half to loosen the sauce if needed.
  • Put the curly fries on a serving plate. Drizzle with the cheese sauce and ranch dressing and sprinkle with the bacon, onions and cilantro. Dot or drizzle with sriracha to taste.

The worst part is when all three work as cooks so don't feel like cooking when they're home, or even going to a grocery store. Parents, when we move out, we really are eating as bad as you thought :)

whatever type cheese, you may have lying around in the refrigerator (hopefully)
as much salsa, as you can scrape out of the bottom of that old jar

Steps:

  • Spread corn flakes onto an oven safe plate.
  • Grate cheese and place on top of corn flakes.
  • Heat in oven until cheese is melted.
  • Pour salsa on"nachos".
  • Enjoy.

  • Bake at 450 degrees F until the cheese melts, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Top with jalapenos and serve.

1 (15 ounce) can corned beef hash
1 (14.5 ounce) package nacho-flavor tortilla chips
1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 (14 ounce) can black beans, drained
1 (8 ounce) jar salsa
1 large tomato, diced
1 large yellow onion, diced
1 cup sour cream
1 (6 ounce) can sliced black olives
¼ cup pickled jalapeno peppers

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Spray a skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium heat. Add corned beef hash and saute until slightly caramelized, 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from the heat.
  • Cover a metal cooking tray with nacho chips. Cover nacho chips with corned beef hash, Cheddar cheese, and black beans.
  • Cook in the preheated oven until cheese is melted and starting to brown and crisp, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and top with salsa, tomato, onion, sour cream, olives, and jalapenos.

  • To make this snack recipe, transfer the corn kernels in a blender and blend corn to a smooth paste. Take a large bowl and mix together all purpose flour, maize flour, corn paste, chilli flakes, salt and oregano. Add lukewarm water and knead it in the form of a stiff dough.
  • Divide the dough into equal balls. Dust the kitchen surface with flour and gently roll each ball out into a thin chapatis. Now, using a triangle-shaped cookie cutter, cut triangles from the chapatis.
