- It doesn't get easier than this. If using pre-ground spices, measure and combine all of them in a glass jar. Cover and shake until well combined. Alternately, if you have whole spices, measure and grind each individually in spice grinder or with a mortar and pestle then combine in glass container and store.

Steps:
- In a large fry pan over medium low flame, toss in all the seasonings except the brown sugar.
- Let the spices bloom until they just begin to color and the aroma from the pan is killer.
- Remove from the heat, transfer bowl and stir in the brown sugar.
COWBOY COFFEE STEAK RUB
This is excellent on a nice thick steak. Make sure to dry the meat before you apply. If the steak is thin, use sparingly. Makes enough for 4 steaks.
