- In a large pot, cook pasta according to pakage directions; drain and return it to the pot.
- Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, combine milk, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and onion powder.
- Cook over medium-low eat, stirring until cream cheese is melted.
- Add peas, reduce heat to low, and stir 4 to 5 minutes, or until sauce is warmed through.
- Add salmon and cream cheese sauce to the pasta in the pot.
- Cook over medium heat 3 to 5 minutes, or until thoroughly combined and warmed through, stirring frequently.
- Serve immediately.

- Preheat the oven to 425˚F (220˚C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- Arrange the bread in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Brush each piece of bread with olive oil. Lightly sprinkle with salt. Bake for 12-14 minutes, until the edges are light golden brown. Let cool.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of scallion cream cheese over each crostini. Top with ¼ ounce of lox and a few capers.
- Enjoy!

- Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente, according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water. Add onion to pot; immediately drain pasta mixture, and return to pot.
- Add cream cheese, dill, capers, and salmon to pasta. Toss, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time to create a thin sauce that coats farfalle (you may not need all the water). Season lightly with salt and pepper. Serve.

- Coat 12-inch nonstick skillet with oil; heat over medium heat. In large bowl, beat eggs, dill weed and salt with fork or wire whisk until well blended. Pour egg mixture into skillet. Cook uncovered 4 minutes; as mixture begins to set on bottom and side, gently lift cooked portions with spatula so that thin, uncooked portion can flow to bottom. Avoid constant stirring.
- Gently stir in onions and lox. Drop cream cheese by teaspoonfuls onto mixture. Cook 4 to 5 minutes, stirring gently, until eggs are thickened but still moist. Garnish with sour cream and capers.

Another classic combination, this dish makes people think you went to a lot of trouble. Actually it's quite simple. Any shape of pasta works, but I prefer a small noodle such as shells or bowties. Despite what an Italian might otherwise recommend, I like to serve this dish with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the onion and sauté until translucent, but not browned. Add the smoked salmon and continue cooking just until the salmon turns opaque, 1 to 2 minutes. Pour in the cream and add the capers. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Be careful how much salt you add because the smoked salmon and capers are both salty. Add the pasta and toss to coat. If there doesn't appear to be enough sauce, add a couple of tablespoons of the pasta cooking water to thin it down. Serve with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
EASY SMOKED SALMON PASTA
A really quick, easy sauce for 'pasta asciutta,' which means 'dry pasta.' It's not a dish over-loaded with sauce, but one that appreciates the simple smokiness of good smoked salmon. - Add the scallions, lox, salt and pepper. Continue working the cream cheese mixture until it is blended (by the way, it is okay if there are some chunks of salmon in the mixture).
- Remove cream cheese mixture to a pretty container or small bowl and refrigerate until ready to serve. Schmear on bagels, matzoh, or toasted pumpernickel or rye bread, or whatever you like.
