2 cups nonfat dry milk powder
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 cup mashed potato flakes
1/4 cup chicken bouillon granules
2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
2 teaspoons dried minced onion
1 teaspoon dried celery flakes
1 teaspoon dried minced garlic
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon white pepper

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine all ingredients. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 1 year. Use as a substitute for half of a 10-3/4-oz. can of condensed cream of chicken, mushroom or celery soup. , In a microwave-safe bowl, whisk 2/3 cup water and 3 tablespoons soup mix. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 2 to 2-1/2 minutes or until thickened and bubbly, whisking occasionally. , For mushroom soup, add 1/4 to 1/2 cup sauteed sliced mushrooms. You can use whatever kind you like (ie, beef, veggie)
4 Tablespoons freeze dried minced onions (I used the minced onions from Sam's Club)
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried thyme (I couldn't find the thyme so I used dried parsley instead)
1 teaspoon pepper

4 teaspoons dried onion flakes
2 teaspoons dried thyme
2 teaspoons basil, crushed dried
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup mixed mushrooms (optional, cream of mushroom soup)
1/2 cup asparagus (optional- cream of asparagus soup)
1/2 cup broccoli (optional- cream of broccoli soup)
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional- cheese soup)
1/2 cup celery (optional- cream of celery soup)
1/2 cup chicken (optional- cream of chicken soup)
1/2 cup diced potato (optional- cream of potato soup)
1/2 cup tomatoes (optional- cream of tomato soup)
1/2 cup shrimp (optional- cream of shrimp soup)

Steps:

  • Measure all dry ingredients and place in a Ziploc Bag.
  • Combine and place in a storage container.
  • To use combine 1/3 cup mix with 1 cup of water.
  • Add in any of the above optional ingredients.
  • Cook over low heat until thickened.
