AIR FRYER TOFU
Enjoy this crispy air fryer tofu recipe with any stir fry or salad. With a soy maple marinade and seasoned with garlic, ginger and sriracha.

- Remove the tofu from the package and drain. With your hands, gently squeeze out as much water as you can without breaking or crushing the block. Lay the tofu flat on a cutting board so the longer edge is towards you, then cut it into four strips. Rotate the strips so that the wider (cut sides) are flat against the cutting board and cut them in half again those you have 8 strips total. Cut the strips crosswise into cubes that are about 1 inch in size (I end up with 5 cubes per strip).
- Line a cutting board or large plate with a clean tea towel (or similar lint-free kitchen towel) or paper towels. Spread the tofu cubes onto it in one layer and lay a second towel on top. Press gently but firmly and change out the towel as needed. The idea is to remove as much water from the tofu as possible.
- In a small bowl or large liquid measuring cup, stir together the soy sauce, vinegar, syrup, oil, garlic powder, ginger, and hot sauce.
- Place the tofu in a shallow baking dish or medium mixing bowl. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the tofu, then with your hand, toss gently to combine. Let the tofu sit for 15 minutes, tossing it again halfway through. Don't worry if a few bits crumble. Those will turn deliciously crispy.
- If you'd like to keep the tofu warm between batches, preheat your oven to 250 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F according to the manufacturer's instructions (for my air fryer, that is 3 minutes of preheat time).
- Just before cooking, sprinkle the corn starch evenly over the top of the tofu and toss to coat.
- Coat the basket of the air fryer with nonstick spray. Add the tofu in one layer, leaving a little space around the cubes so that they do not touch and the air can circulate (depending upon the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook it in two or three batches).
- Cook the tofu for 9 minutes, slide the basket out and shake it gently to toss the tofu, then continue cook for 2 to 4 additional minutes, tossing and checking it each minute, until the tofu is crisp and dark golden (the time will vary based on your air fryer; keep a close eye on it towards the end to make sure it doesn't burn). If desired, transfer the tofu to the baking sheet and keep warm in the oven while you finish the rest.
- Repeat with remaining tofu, discarding any excess marinade (if you have some crumbled bits of tofu in the bottom of the bowl, you can air fry those too). Enjoy!

AIR FRYER PEANUT SAUCE TOFU
This dish is made awesome with the creamy, peanutty sauce that is super easy, vegan, and ready in a few minutes. A versatile sauce that can be added to your favorite vegetables, quinoa, noodles or rice!

- Step 1 Combine peanut butter, garlic, ginger, coconut aminos, rice vinegar, and water in a mason jar. Shake until ingredients are fully combined. Set aside.
- Step 2 Drain water from tofu packaging, no need to press. Cut tofu into 1 inch cubes.
- Step 3 Place the tofu in the air fryer in a single layer. Air Fry at 390 degrees for 10 minutes, flipping each tofu cube over after 5 minutes of cooking. This will need to be done in batches as the tofu needs to be in a single layer in the air fryer.
- Step 4 While your tofu cooks, add the remaining ingredients to a skillet or pot, simmer over medium-low heat for 5 minutes, stirring frequntly.
- Step 5 Once tofu is golden brown, carefully remove from air fryer and add to pot with the peanut sauce. Simmer over low heat for 2-3 minutes gently stirring ensuring all tofu cubes are coated. Add a few additional tablespoons of water if you find the sauce is too thick.
- Step 6 Transfer to serving dish with your choice of steamed vegetables, noodles, rice, quinoa, or simply eat as is! Top with sesame seeds, scallions, red pepper flakes, and peanuts to taste. Enjoy!
CRISPY AIR FRYER TOFU
Crispy tofu made in the air fryer

- Drain package of extra firm tofu and press tofu for 20 minutes. You can do this in a tofu press or wrap tofu in a clean towel and place under a heavy weight like books or a large pan. When tofu is pressed cut into 1″ cubes.
- Combine arrowroot starch, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika in a small bowl. Toss cubed tofu in this mixture until each cube is evenly coated.
- Place seasoned tofu in an air fryer basket. Spray tofu on all sides with a spray oil. Preheat air fryer to 400F.
- Place tofu in air fryer and cook at 400F for 8 minutes. Remove tray from air fryer and toss. Return tofu to air fryer and cook for an additional 7 minutes.
- While the tofu cooks prepare the peanut sauce by whisking together peanut butter, lime juice, sesame oil, rice vinegar, sriracha, water and coconut aminos
- Serve crispy air fryer tofu with quinoa or brown rice, fresh veggies, peanut sauce and green onions

CRISPY AIR FRYER TOFU WITH PEANUT SAUCE

- Press the tofu for at least 30 minutes if necessary. Or you can buy pre-pressed extra firm tofu.
- Cube the tofu and mix it together with the paprika, maple syrup and soy sauce/tamari. Marinade for 30 minutes, or overnight.
- Transfer the tofu to the air fryer basket and air fry for 10-15 minutes at 200 degrees C/400 F. Shake the air fryer basket half way through.
- Meanwhile, prepare the sauce. Simply mix together the soy yogurt, peanut butter, sriracha and lime juice. Then, add the cherry tomatoes, bell pepper and onion and mix once again.
