CRUNCHY ONION CRESCENT ROLLS
This recipe is so easy that I almost feel guilty. But, they're sooo good, especially right out of the oven. You might want to double the batch.

Steps:
- 1. Unroll crescents and seperate into triangles. Sprinkle onions down the center of each and roll up.
- 2. Bake at 375 for 13 minutes.
ONION CRESCENT ROLLS
I love those canned french fried onions. Do you? Now you can dress up those little crescent rolls with these onions. They sure are good and very easy to make. I got this out of A Taste of Home book.

Steps:
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
- Sprinkle each with about 2 tablespoons of the onions.
- Roll up each one from the wide end and place on ungreased foil-lined sheet.
- Curve ends downward to make a crescent.
- Beat the egg and water together and brush over dough.
- Sprinkle with remaining onions.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes or till golden.
- Serve warm.

- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar. Mix in eggs, beating well. Add buttermilk to butter mixture along with minced onion, salt, instant yeast, and 1 cup of all-purpose flour. Mix until blended. Stir in enough flour to form a soft dough.
- Turn onto a floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic, about 5-7 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover with clean tea towels and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 90 minutes.
- Gently punch down dough, and turn onto a lightly floured surface. Divide into two pieces and form into two balls.
- Roll each ball into a 15" circle. Cut each circle into 8 wedges. Roll up each wedge from wide end and place point side down on two baking sheets lined with parchment paper or silicone baking mats. Curve ends down to form crescent.
