TURKEY AND DRIED CHERRY SALAD

Steps:

• Cook and drain pasta as directed on package.
• In large bowl, mix pasta and remaining ingredients except dressing. Pour dressing over mixture; toss until coated. Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate until serving.

TURKEY, DRIED CHERRY PASTA SALAD

Steps:

• Cook pasta, drain,& toss in olive oil.
• Cool.
• Combine pasta, turkey, cherries, onion, celery,& ¼ c almonds.
• Mix in dressing to desired consistency.
• Top with other ¼ c almonds.
• NOTE: I tried substituting dried cranberries with cherry flavoring, but the flavor is just not the same as the dried cherries!

Steps:

• Salad: Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. Rinse in cold water. Chill. Combine pasta, turkey, dried cherries, onion, celery and almonds. Dressing: Combine powdered sugar and vinegar. Add mayo, water, poppy seeds, salt and pepper. Whisk to combine. Add to pasta mixture. Toss until pasta is coated with dressing. NOTE: May be refrigerated up to 3 days.

Steps:

• Mix together all the ingredients for the dressing; set aside. Cook the pasta al dente, drain, toss in olive oil and cool completely. Combine pasta, chicken, cherries, celery, onion and ½ the almonds in a large bowl. Mix in dressing to desired consistency. Taste for salt and adjust if necessary. Transfer to a serving dish and top with the remaining almonds.
