Steps:
- Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- To make the almond butter layer, in a medium bowl mix together almond butter, almond flour, flaxseed meal, maple syrup, vanilla and a pinch of salt until all combined. Spread the almond butter mixture in in the pan, pressing down with the back of a spoon, or your hand, so that you get a nice even layer.
- In a medium microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil in 15-20 second intervals until melted and spread in an even layer over top of the almond butter mixture using a spatula.
- Cover and place the bars in the fridge for at least 2-3 hours (or overnight) until the chocolate has hardened and bars are set. When ready to serve, let the bars sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before slicing to avoid cracking the chocolate. Store bars in the fridge or freezer and enjoy!

- Add to a food processor or blender. Add chia seeds. Alternate between pulsing and blending on high. Scrape down the sides with a spoon as needed. This may take several minutes and rounds of scraping-and-pulsing. Do this until a "dough" forms. All of the ingredients should stick together and be well incorporated.
- Spread dough out evenly into a 9x5 bread pan lined with parchment paper. It is helpful to wet your fingers just slightly so the dough doesn't stick to your fingers!

- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a sharp knife, finely chop the chocolate. In a bowl set over a saucepan of gently simmering water, heat the chopped chocolate, stirring occasionally, until it is about two-thirds melted; do not let the bowl touch the water. Remove the bowl from the saucepan and stir the chocolate until it is completely melted and the temperature registers 90° on a candy thermometer. If the chocolate has not melted completely and is still too cool, set it over the saucepan for 1 or 2 minutes longer, stirring constantly; do not overheat.
- Stir the almonds and seeds into the chocolate and spread onto the prepared baking sheet in a 1/2-inch-thick layer, making sure the nuts and seeds are completely covered in chocolate. Refrigerate the bark for about 10 minutes, until hardened. Invert the bark onto a work surface. Remove the parchment paper, break into 25 pieces and store or serve.

- Melt cacao butter in a double boiler or in a glass mixing bowl set over a small saucepan with 1 inch of water over medium heat. Alternatively, melt in the microwave in a mixing bowl until completely liquid.
- Once melted, remove from heat and add maple syrup and whisk to combine. When the mixture is completely fluid with no separation, add cacao or cocoa powder and vanilla extract. Whisk to thoroughly combine.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if needed - I found 1/3 cup to be perfect (amount as original recipe is written // adjust if altering batch size).
- Pour the chocolate into candy molds (if you have them), mini paper cupcake liners, or simply line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour the chocolate on top. Top with roasted almonds and sprinkle of salt.

- Pre-heat oven to 350°. Line a 9 inch pan with parchment paper (the pan can be bigger or smaller depending on how thick you want your bars).
- In the bowl of your food processor add oats, almonds and all bran, pulse until almonds are in smaller pieces (you do not want powder).
- In a small pot add butter, honey, brown sugar, vanilla and salt, bring to a boil, cook and stir for a minute, let cool for a couple of minutes. Pour over dry ingredients, stir well, add chips, (chips may melt so I sprinkled a few on top before baking). Add to prepared pan. Bake for approximately 20-25 minutes. Let cool, cut into pieces. Refrigerate in an air tight container. Enjoy!

- In a large bowl, mix together the oats, flour, maple syrup, 1/2 cup almond butter, coconut oil, vanilla and cinnamon. The mixture should be sticky and clump together easily. If it’s too crumbly, add a bit more nut butter. If too wet, add in more oats/flour.
- Transfer half of the mixture into the baking pan and spread evenly. I like to use a piece of parchment paper to press down the mixture evenly, but a small rolling pin (or your fingers!) also works. Place in the fridge and let harden for at least 30 minutes.
- After the mixture has hardened in the fridge, melt the chocolate chips along with the remaining 1/4 cup almond butter in a double boiler or small pot over boiling water until creamy and smooth. Pour the chocolate on the oat layer and refrigerate until hardened, about 1 hour.

- Add almonds, coconut and salt (if using) to a large bowl. Stir until well mixed. Pour maple syrup over this mixture. Fold until well incorporated and fully coated.
- Pour this mixture into the prepared baking pan. Using a rubber spatula, smooth into an even, very tightly-packed layer. Bake for 30-40 minutes (mine took 35 mins). Bars must bake thoroughly, or they won’t hold together when cooled.
- Allow to cool in the baking pan for 1 hour, or until completely cooled. Pinching opposite ends of the parchment paper lining, lift bars out of pan. Gently peel paper off the bottom of the bars. Slice into 12 bars (6 rows by 2 columns).
