Donnas Macaroni Salad Recipes
MACARONI DANDY SALAD
My mom has been making this salad for years. It is a lighter, more "summery" macaroni salad with a flavor that is quite different from that of traditional macaroni salad. Great for summer BBQs!

Steps:
- Cook macaroni according to package directions.
- Rinse with cold water, drain, and place in large bowl.
- In small bowl, mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, sugar, celery seed, salt, and pepper.
- Combine with macaroni and remaining ingredients.
- Refrigerate at least 2 hours or until serving.
- Serve on top of salad greens or from bowl.

The next time you need to bring a dish to a party, family reunion or pot-luck social, this is a winner! You can believe no one else will bring the same thing. Make this your own by adding other ingredients that you like and taking out those you dont.

Steps:
- 1. Disolve bouillon cubes in boiling water and cook pasta until al dente. Do not add salt. Drain and quickly rinse under cold water to stop cooking. Set aside.
- 2. Mix all of the vegetables in a very large mixing bowl then add the pasta. Pour about half a bottle of the Zesty Italian salad dressing and mix well. Add salt & pepper to taste.
- 3. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Pasta and vegetables will absorb a lot of the salad dressing so it will need more. Gradually add dressing, about half of the remaining bottle until salad is moist but not dripping wet. Enjoy!

- Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and rinse with cold water. Cool completely. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Cook Spam until golden brown, about 8 minutes. Cool completely., For dressing, in a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, sugar, mustard, salt and pepper. In a large bowl, combine pineapple, red pepper, water chestnuts, cooled Spam and macaroni. Add dressing; gently toss to coat. Refrigerate until serving. Top with green onions before serving.

- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain. Rinse with cold water and place in large bowl.
- Add onion, pepper and carrot to bowl with pasta. Toss with mayonnaise and ranch-style dressing. Adjust mayonnaise and dressing to taste. Serve.
