Crab and Cream Cheese Dip image

This creamy dip is the perfect accompaniment to any party menu. It's so delicious on crisp crackers!-Nadine McGehee, Greenville, Mississippi

3 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1-1/2 teaspoons thinly sliced green onion
1-1/2 teaspoons diced pimiento, drained
1-1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon prepared horseradish
1/3 cup crabmeat, drained, flaked and cartilage removed
1 tablespoon finely chopped pecans
Assorted crackers

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine cream cheese and mayonnaise. Stir in the green onion, pimiento, Worcestershire sauce and horseradish; mix well. Stir in crab. Place in a 1-cup serving bowl; sprinkle with pecans. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Serve with crackers.

Cheddar and cream cheeses are laced with chunks of crab, olives and Pace® Picante Sauce to make an irresistible hot dip.

1 cup Pace® Picante Sauce OR Pace® Thick & Chunky Salsa
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated pasteurized crabmeat
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
¼ cup sliced pitted ripe olives
Pita triangles, tortilla chips or fresh vegetables

Steps:

  • Heat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Stir the picante sauce and chili powder in a small bowl. Spread the cream cheese in the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate. Top with the picante sauce mixture, crabmeat, Cheddar cheese and olives.
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until the mixture is hot and bubbling. Top with additional picante sauce. Serve with the pita triangles, tortilla chips or fresh vegetables for dipping.
