Steps:
- Placed chicken breast between waxed paper and pounded until 1/4 inch thick. I butterfly them first.
- Melt one stick margarine and add one tbs worchestershire sauce and 1 tsp dry mustard.
- Crush one can Durkee's French Fried Onion Rings in a plastic bag.
- Dip chicken in butter mixture and then in onion rings. Lay flat in baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining onion rings before baking. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30-40 minutes.
- This recipe calls for the larger can of Durkee onions, You might need more or less depending on how much you coat each piece.

FRENCH CHICKEN CASSEROLE
It's a new take on "Mom's" Durkee Chicken Casserole. A bit more sophisticated taste. Still has those addictive Durkee or French's Onion Rings

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F.
- 2. For caramelized onion, place a skillet on very high heat, and drop onions in it. Let it cook for 4 minutes.
- 3. Add maple syrup and mix well.
- 4. Sprinkle salt and pepper. Cook for about 20 minutes or until caramelized, stirring occasionally.
- 5. For casserole, in a large mixing bowl, add caramelized onion, heavy cream, wine, and egg. Mix well.
- 6. Drop thyme leaves, pepper, salt, bouillon cube, and flour.
- 7. Throw garlic, sage and a little bit of grated cheese. Stir to combine.
- 8. Place a frying pan on medium high heat, and melt butter in it. Swirl and spread it all over the pan.
- 9. Drop chicken pieces and let them caramelize.
- 10. Season it with salt and pepper. Flip and cook on other side.
- 11. Grease a baking dish, and pour egg mixture in it.
- 12. Place chicken on top, and sprinkle remaining cheese on top of dish.
- 13. Top with Durkee Onion Rings.
- 14. Put it in oven and bake for 45 minutes.

I bake this for my family every once in a while and they love it, even my picky 4 year old. Pair it with mashed potatoes or other veggies it's great. Makes it's own kind of gravy with the mushroom soup and fried onions. Yum!

Steps:
- Grease your pan and preheat your oven to 325-350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Place the chicken breasts side by side in pan to fit.
- Cover the chicken breasts with the cream of mushroom soup.
- Completely cover this with fried onions.
- Bake until chicken completely cooked.

CHICKEN IN FRENCH ONION SAUCE
This is a recipe from the Quick & Easy Casseroles from Durkees French Fried Onions cookbook (1988). This is so good. I also added diced onions, frozen corn and next time I'll also add some sliced potatoes. I'll also double the sauce and slightly thicken it so it coats the vegetables, I want to get every drop of that delicious sauce that I can. This would make a wonderful dish to take to a family reunion just cut the chicken into bite size pieces, then continue with the rest of the recipe.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375. In 8x12 inch baking dish, combine vegetables and 1/2 can French Fried Onions.
- Arrange chicken breasts on vegetables.
- In small bowl, combine wine, bouillon, garlic salt and pepper; pour over chicken and vegetables.
- Sprinkle chicken with paprika.
- Bake, covered, at 375 for 35-45 minutes or until chicken is done.
- Baste chicken with wine sauce and top with remaining onions; bake, uncovered, 3 minutes or until onions are golden brown.

- Dip chicken breasts in egg, then flour, then again in the egg and then press into french fried onions, making sure to coat chicken well . Then place chicken on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for about 30 - 40 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
