EASTER CHEESE BALL

Number Of Ingredients 7

Ingredients

2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, room temperature
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese (preferably orange), shredded, plus additional for rolling
2 tablespoons minced shallot
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon hot sauce (such as Tabasco)
Coarse salt and white pepper, to taste

Steps:

Put all ingredients into the bowl of a mixer, and blend thoroughly. Form into an egg-like chick shape, and refrigerate until firm, about an hour. Before serving, roll the cheese ball in shredded cheese (this will look like feathers). Use a whole almond for the chick's beak, raisins for eyes and slivers of carrot or orange peppers for the feet. Serve with crackers or crudites.
The results are at once delightful and delicious; don't expect the little guy to last very long.

¾ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
¼ cup shredded pepperjack cheese
½ green bell pepper, minced
1 jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon garlic salt

Steps:

In a medium bowl combine the cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, green bell pepper, jalapeno pepper, Worcestershire sauce and garlic salt. Mix together and form mixture into a ball. Roll ball in cilantro and serve with your favorite crackers.

40 vanilla wafers, finely crushed
1/3 cup butter, melted
4 pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp. zest and 1 Tbsp. juice from 1 lemon
4 eggs
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 jar (7 oz.) JET-PUFFED Marshmallow Creme
1/3 cup BAKER'S ANGEL FLAKE Coconut
3/4 cup mini sugar shell-coated milk chocolate eggs

Steps:

Heat oven to 325°F.
Combine wafer crumbs and butter; press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan.
Beat cream cheese, sugar, honey, lemon zest and lemon juice in large bowl with mixer until blended. Add 4 eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each just until blended. Pour over crust.
Bake 55 min. or until center of cheesecake is almost set. Run knife around rim of pan to loosen cake; cool completely before removing rim.
Refrigerate cheesecake 4 hrs.
Beat whipping cream in medium bowl with mixer on high speed until soft peaks form. Add marshmallow creme; beat until stiff peaks form.
Spoon marshmallow creme mixture over cheesecake to within 1/2 inch of edge, then use back of spoon to make 3-inch-diameter indentation in center to resemble a bird's nest.
Sprinkle marshmallow creme mixture with coconut; fill center with chocolate eggs just before serving.

16 ounces (2 Pkgs) cream cheese
2 Tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons chopped pimento
1 Tablespoons minced green pepper
1 Tablespoon minced onion
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon lemon juice
1 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

Combine cream cheese and butter in a bowl; microwave for about 30 seconds to soften. Mix together until well combined.
Add remaining ingredients and gently fold in.
Place bowl in the fridge and let set up for about 30 minutes.
Roll into a ball and roll ball in chopped walnuts.
Serve with crackers or fresh vegetables.
