Steps:
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, water, garlic, honey and cornstarch. Set aside.
- Slice the tenderloin in half lengthwise to make 2 pieces, then slice into smaller slices approximately 1/4 inch thick. Set aside.
- Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add oil to lightly coat the pan. Add pork pieces and cook, stirring, until the pork is almost completely cooked, about 4 minutes.
- Add frozen veggies to the pan and cook over medium high heat until thawed and no longer frozen.
- Increase the heat to high. Add the stir fry sauce to the pan and cook over high heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture begins to boil. Reduce heat to low and cook for 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat. Sauce will thicken and coat the stir fry as it cools.

PORK STIR FRY WITH GREEN BEANS
Recipe VIDEO above. A simplified version of the popular Szechuan Stir Fried Green Beans with Minced Pork - same flavour punch but made with everyday ingredients. Has intense flavour so you won't miss the sauciness of usual stir fries. Mix it up with rice then eaten with a spoon - forget chopsticks! Also, see here for the Japanese version of this dish. Spiciness: Mild.

Steps:
- Mix Sauce ingredients in a bowl.
- Trim the tough end of the beans, then chop into 2 - 2.5cm / 4/5 - 1" pieces.
- Charred Beans: Heat 1 1/2 tbsp oil in a heavy based skillet over high heat (I use cast iron) until smoking. Add beans, spread out to cover base. Leave for 1 minute. Quick stir, spread out, cook for 30 seconds. Stir, then leave for 30 seconds, then repeat once more (so 2 1/2 minutes in total cook time) until beans are charred but tender crisp (not withered and floppy). Remove into bowl.
- Turn heat down to medium high, add 1 tbsp oil. Add onion, then garlic and ginger. Cook for 1 minute until edges of onion are golden.
- Turn heat back up to high. Add pork and cook, breaking it up as you go. Cook for 2 minutes until the pork is cooked through, then add Sauce. Cook for 30 seconds, then add beans and stir for another 30 seconds.
- Serve over rice. Garnish with slices of large red chilli (it's mild), entirely optional. To eat, mix the pork into the rice then eat it with a spoon - forget chopsticks for this one! (For a low carb, low cal option, try Cauliflower Rice)

- SAUCE: In a small bowl, whisk the soy sauce and cornstarch together with a fork until smooth. Add in the rice vinegar, finely minced ginger, finely minced garlic, chili sauce (See Note 1), chicken broth, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper (I add 1/4 teaspoon of each). Whisk to combine and set aside.
- PREP VEGGIES: Cut zucchini in half lengthwise and then cut into half moons about 1/2-inch thick. Trim green beans and cut into 1-inch pieces. Set aside. Line a large shallow bowl with paper towel and set aside.
- COOK PORK: Heat a large frying pan or wok over medium-high heat. Once hot, drizzle 1 tablespoon of the oil around the pan, add the pork, and season with salt and pepper to taste (I add a pinch of each). Let cook without touching for 30 seconds, and then break the pork into small, bite-sized pieces and continue cooking until golden brown, about 6-9 minutes. Transfer pork to paper-towel-lined bowl and set aside.
- COOK VEGGIES: Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil in the pan and increase heat to high. Add beans and zucchini when the pan is very hot, spreading out to cover the base of the pan. Leave for 1 minute and then quickly stir, spread them out again, and cook for 30 more seconds. Repeat that process once more (for a total of 2 and 1/2 minutes cook time) until veggies are charred but still tender crisp (not soggy). Reduce the heat to low. Add pork back in and stir to combine. Pour in the stir fry sauce.
