EASY BISQUICK OATMEAL BREAD
I got this recipe from my mother about 20 years ago and it has been a hit ever since. This is a dessert-type or snack-type bread. My husband loves it and I can't keep a loaf around for long.

Steps:
- Combine Bisquick, oats and sugar.
- Combine egg, milk and oil.
- Add to the dry mixture, beating until smooth.
- Stir in chips and nuts.
- Bake in a greased, wax paper-lined bread pan for 70 minutes at 350.
- Cool 10 minutes and remove from pan by lifting the wax paper.
- Wait for bread to cool before removing wax paper to avoid excessive crumbling.

NO-KNEAD OATMEAL-MOLASSES BREAD
Homemade bread! Make a loaf with the goodness of oats and molasses.

Steps:
- Grease 9x5- or 8x4-inch loaf pan with shortening or cooking spray. In large bowl, mix boiling water, oats, shortening, molasses and salt; cool to lukewarm. In small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add yeast mixture, egg and 1 1/2 cups of the flour to oat mixture. Beat with electric mixer on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl frequently. Stir in remaining flour until completely mixed.
- Spread batter evenly in pan (batter will be sticky; smooth and pat into shape with floured hands). Cover; let rise in warm place about 1 hour 30 minutes or until batter is 1 inch from top of 9x5-inch pan or reaches top of 8x4-inch pan.
- Heat oven to 375°F. Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until loaf is brown and sounds hollow when tapped. (If loaf browns too quickly, cover loosely with foil during last 15 minutes of baking.) Remove from pan to cooling rack; cool. For a soft, shiny crust, brush top with butter, margarine or shortening if desired.

- Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 8x4-inch loaf pan with cooking spray.
- In large bowl, mix flours, brown sugar, oats, the flaxseed, baking soda and salt. Stir in buttermilk just until mixed. Pour batter into pan. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon oats.
- Bake 45 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on cooling rack 5 minutes. Remove from pan to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 2 hours, before slicing.

- Combine oats, molasses, oil, salt and boiling water. Let cool to about 105 degrees F.
- Dissolve the yeast in the warm water and let stand for 5 minutes or until creamy. Stir the yeast into oat mixture and mix well. Add whole wheat flour, 2 cups bread flour, and the eggs. Mix until well combined.
- Stir in enough of the remaining flour to make a soft dough. Turn dough out to a floured counter and knead for about 10 minutes. Place the dough in a well-greased bowl and cover with greased plastic wrap. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator overnight.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease 3 regular loaf pans and 4 mini loaf pans.
- Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and divide it into 4 pieces. Shape the dough into loaves and place them in the pans, seam-side down. Let rise until doubled, about 90 minutes. Bake in the preheated oven until the loaves are golden brown and sound hollow when tapped, about 30 minutes.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
- Cream together the shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until fluffy.
