STRAWBERRY WALNUT TORTE

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350°. Line bottoms of 2 greased 9-in. round baking pans with parchment; grease paper., Place walnuts and 1/4 cup sugar in a food processor; pulse until nuts are ground. In a small bowl, beat cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside walnut mixture and cream., In a large bowl, beat eggs and remaining sugar until thick and lemon-colored; beat in vanilla. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt and walnut mixture; fold into egg mixture alternately with whipped cream., Transfer to prepared pans. Bake 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans 10 minutes before removing to wire racks; remove parchment. Cool completely., For frosting, in a small bowl, beat cream until stiff peaks form. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and salt until blended. Fold in whipped cream., Using a long serrated knife, cut each cake horizontally in half. Place 1 cake layer on a serving plate; spread with 1/2 cup frosting. Top with a second cake layer. Reserve 2 tablespoons preserves for strawberries; spread half the remaining preserves over top of cake to within 1/2 inch of edge. Repeat layers., Frost sides of cake with remaining frosting. • Mix all the ingredients together. Flatten into the bottom of a 9 by 13 inch pan. Bake 15 minute at 350 degrees or until lightly brownn around edges. Cool.

• Measure the eggs and sugar into a large bowl and whisk at full speed with an electric whisk until the mixture is thick and mousse-like and leaves a trail when the whisk is lifted out of the mixture. Sift the flour onto the mixture and lightly fold in with chopped walnuts. Turn into the prepared cake tin.
• Bake in the pre-heated oven for about 40-45 minutes until well risen, golden and firm to the touch. Allow the cake to cool in the tin for a few minutes, then turn out and leave to cool completely on a wire rack.
• When cold, cut the cake in three, horizontally. Fill lavishly with the whipped cream and strawberries. Spread the remaining cream over the top and sides of the cake and decorate with the reserved strawberries.

FLUFFY FROZEN STRAWBERRY DESSERT RECIPE

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
• In a bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, butter, and walnuts. Mix together and spread out on a large cookie sheet I used a 15 x 10 x 1 baking sheet.
• Cook for about 15 minutes, stirring 2-3 times during baking. Let cool for about 5-10 minutes, remove 1/2 cup to use for later, and press the rest of the nut mixture into a 9 x 13 baking pan that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
• In another bowl, mix together strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Fold in the Cool-Whip and spread over the cooled crust.
• Top with the reserved 1/2 cup of nut mixture, sprinkled over the strawberry filling.
• Cover and place in the freezer for at least 6 hours.

EASY STRAWBERRY CRUMBLE DESSERT

Steps:

• In a bowl mix together chopped strawberries with 1/2 cup white sugar and 1 Tbsp cornstarch. Stir until sugar is dissolved and strawberries look glossy.
• Transfer to a baking dish.
• In another bowl combine 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup oats, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/3 cup melted butter. Stir until the mixture is crumbly and fluffy.
• Sprinkle all over the strawberries and bake 30-35 min or until strawberries become bubbly in the oven preheated to 375°F Serve with a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream.
