DREYER'S PEPPERMINT SUNDAES

Steps:

• In a sundae glass, layer, from the bottom up:
• Chocolate or fudge sauce, DREYER'S SLOW CHURNED® Peppermint Ice Cream, crushed candy canes or peppermint candies, brownies.

HOT FUDGE-PEPPERMINT SUNDAES

Steps:

• Combine chocolate chips, butter, cream and sugar in heavy medium saucepan. Stir over low heat until melted and smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and salt. (Can be made 2 weeks ahead. Cover and chill. Rewarm before using.)
• Place 2 scoops ice cream into each of 6 sundae glasses. Spoon hot fudge sauce over ice cream. Sprinkle with crushed peppermint candies.

PEPPERMINT HOT FUDGE SUNDAES

Steps:

• Combine heavy cream and corn syrup in a small saucepan. Stir to combine, and bring just to a boil over medium-high heat. Remove from heat, and add chocolate and peppermint extract.
• Whisk until the chocolate is melted. If necessary, adjust consistency with additional corn syrup. Serve over ice cream. Garnish with chopped peppermint candy.

EDY'S PEPPERMINT SUNDAES

Steps:

• In a sundae glass, layer, from the bottom up:
• Chocolate or fudge sauce, EDY'S SLOW CHURNED® Peppermint Ice Cream, crushed candy canes or peppermint candies, then brownies.

EDY'S PEPPERMINT PIE

Steps:

• In food processor, crush cookies into fine crumbs. In mixing bowl, stir together cookie crumbs and butter. With your fingers, press crumb mixture evenly onto bottom and sides of 9-inch pie plate. Place in freezer about 15 minutes or until firm.*
• Meanwhile, place ice cream in refrigerator for about 15 minutes to soften. Scoop ice cream into crust and spread evenly with spatula. Pipe or spoon whipped topping around border of pie. Arrange small candy canes on top of pie. Place pie in freezer for several hours or until ice cream is firm.
• To serve, cut pie into 8 wedges. Place each wedge on a dessert plate and drizzle with chocolate syrup or hot fudge sauce, if desired.
