Steps:
- Cream margarine and brown sugar; beat in egg; add orange rind and orange juice.
- Combine flour, baking soda, and cloves; blend thoroughly into creamed mixture.
- Add chocolate chips; mix well.
- Drop from teaspoon onto cookie sheets.
- Bake at 375°F for 10-12 minutes.

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper, and set aside.
- Mix the flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar in a bowl. In another bowl, beat the butter and 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar together with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Mix in orange extract, grated orange zest, and egg. Stir in the flour mixture, and blend well.
- Drop teaspoon-sized portions of dough about 2 inches apart onto the parchment lined baking sheets. The cookies will spread out to about 1 1/2 inches when baked.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 14 minutes, until the cookies are light brown. Remove from the oven, and sift remaining confectioners' sugar onto the hot cookies. Allow to cool, and store in an airtight container.

- Heat oven to 350°F. In a small bowl, whisk egg, food coloring, vanilla and orange extract. In large bowl, mix butter and sugar cookie mix until well blended. Then, mix in egg and food coloring mixture. Once soft dough has formed, stir in baking chips.
- On ungreased cookie sheets, drop dough with 1 1/2 tablespoon-size cookie scoop or by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart.
- Bake 9 to 10 minutes or just until dough is set (do not overbake). Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely.

- In a large bowl cream butter and sugar together until light.
- Stir in eggs, juice from orange and grated rind from orange.
- Stir in flour, salt, baking soda to combine.
- Stir in nuts, if using.
- Drop dough by spoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until golden.
- Cool on rack while making icing.
- To make icing blend the remaining ingredients together (powdered sugar - orange peel) until smooth and then swirl icing over cookies, covering cookies completely.

- In a large bowl, cream butter and cream cheese until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar. Beat in the orange juice concentrate, zest and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in food coloring. (Dough will be soft.), Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 3 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Flatten slightly with a glass dipped in confectioners' sugar., Bake at 400° for 6-9 minutes or until edges begin to brown.
