1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup honey or light corn syrup
1/2 cup peanut butter
3 cups Cheerios™ cereal
1/2 cup salted peanuts

Steps:

  • Butter 9-inch square pan. In 3-quart saucepan, heat sugar and honey just to boiling over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
  • Stir in peanut butter until smooth. Stir in cereal and peanuts until evenly coated.
  • Press evenly in pan, using buttered back of spoon. Cool 1 hour. For squares, cut into 6 rows by 6 rows. Store loosely covered.

Stir up a honey of an easy no-bake cereal snack bar with a double peanut taste.

6 cups Honey Nut Chex™ cereal
1/2 cup honey-roasted peanuts
1/2 cup honey or light corn syrup
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Butter 9- or 8-inch square pan. In large bowl, mix cereal and peanuts; set aside.
  • In 3-quart saucepan, heat honey and sugar just to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in peanut butter until smooth. Pour over cereal mixture in bowl; stir gently until evenly coated. Press firmly in pan. Cool 15 minutes.
  • In small microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips uncovered on High 30 to 60 seconds, stirring every 15 seconds, until melted and smooth. Drizzle over top of bars. Let stand at room temperature at least 30 minutes until chocolate is set. For bars, cut into 4 rows by 6 rows. Store loosely covered at room temperature.

  • Immediately stir in cereal until evenly coated. Using buttered back of spoon or hands, press mixture firmly in pan; cool. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 4 rows. Store loosely covered.

These Cheerio Cereal Bars are super easy to make and the perfect homemade snack for families on the go! Made with Cheerio cereal and packed with dried fruit and protein-filled peanut butter, these toasted oat bars will leave you satisfied for hours.

3/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup honey
3 cups Cheerios
1 cup freeze dried strawberries
3/4 cup white chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Set aside 1/4 cup of white chocolate chips
  • Place 3 cups Cheerios in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add peanut butter and honey to a medium sized mixing bowl.
  • Microwave peanut butter/honey mixture in 20 second intervals until melted, stirring between each session.
  • Add strawberries, remaining white chocolate chips and melted peanut butter/honey mixture to bowl with Cheerios. Mix thoroughly.
  • Place mixture in a lined 8x8 baking dish.
  • Firmly press mixture into the dish u sing a piece of parchment paper to keep your hands clean.
  • Melt 1/4 cup of white chocolate chips in microwave in 20 second intervals, stirring between each session.
  • Drizzle melted white chocolate over cereal bars using a spoon.
  • Chill for at least 1 hour in fridge before cutting and serving.
