These small, delicious sandwiches are perfect for any party. They are so good that even the pickiest of eaters will eat these.

¾ cup melted butter
1 ½ tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 ½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 ½ tablespoons poppy seeds
1 tablespoon dried minced onion
24 mini sandwich rolls
1 pound thinly sliced cooked deli ham
1 pound thinly sliced Swiss cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a bowl, mix together butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, and dried onion. Separate the tops from bottoms of the rolls, and place the bottom pieces into the prepared baking dish. Layer about half the ham onto the rolls. Arrange the Swiss cheese over the ham, and top with remaining ham slices in a layer. Place the tops of the rolls onto the sandwiches. Pour the mustard mixture evenly over the rolls.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the rolls are lightly browned and the cheese has melted, about 20 minutes. Slice into individual rolls through the ham and cheese layers to serve.

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons prepared Dijon-style mustard
2 (12 ounce) packages white party rolls
½ pound chopped cooked ham
5 ounces shredded Swiss cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a medium bowl, mix together butter, poppy seeds, onion, Worcestershire sauce and prepared Dijon-style mustard.
  • Slice rolls in half horizontally and set aside tops. Spread bottoms with the butter mixture. Top with ham and Swiss cheese. Replace tops.

◾2 Pounds Virginia Ham (from the deli)
◾12 Slices Swiss Cheese
◾1 Stick Butter plus 2 Tablespoons
◾2 Teaspoons Worcestershire
◾1 Teaspoon Garlic
◾1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
◾1 Teaspoon Poppy Seeds, plus more for top

Steps:

  • 1. Separate and place the bottoms only of Rolls in two 9 x 13 pans (12 rolls in each pan) 2. Place Ham on top of the Roll bottoms. About 1 and 1/2 slices on each Roll 3. Cut the Swiss Cheese Slices into 4 pieces and place 2 pieces each, on top of the Ham 4. Now place the Dinner Roll tops on the Sandwiches 5. In a saucepan, combine the Butter, Worcestershire, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder and Poppy Seeds over low heat until the butter melts 6. Brush the Butter mixture over all the Ham Sandwiches then sprinkle with a little extra Poppy Seeds 7. Cover the 2 pans of Sandwiches tightly with foil and put in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight 8. When ready to cook, preheat oven to 375 degrees and bake the Sandwiches uncovered for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted These Sandwiches are great served warm or at room temperature. 1/4 lb thinly sliced baked ham such as Black Forest, finely chopped
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 1/2 tablespoons bottled mango chutney such as Major Grey's, finely chopped
1 1/2 tablespoons coarse-grained mustard
1/2 cup sesame seeds, toasted
1/2 cup poppy seeds
16 slices firm whole-wheat bread
1/2 stick (1/4 cup) unsalted butter, softened

Steps:

  • Stir together ham, mayonnaise, chutney, mustard, and salt to taste.
  • Put sesame and poppy seeds in 2 separate shallow bowls.
  • Divide bread into 4 stacks. Trim stacks into 2 1/2-inch squares with a serrated knife, discarding crusts. Put 8 bread squares on a work surface in 1 layer, then divide ham mayonnaise among them, spreading evenly to edges. Top each with a plain bread square.
  • Diagonally halve each sandwich with serrated knife. Spread a thin layer of butter on cut edges of both short sides of 1 triangle, then dip 1 buttered side in sesame seeds and the other in poppy seeds. Put, unseeded side down, on a platter, then coat remaining sandwiches in same manner.

1 lb chipped ham
1 lb sliced swiss cheese
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons mustard
2 tablespoons poppy seeds
2 teaspoons onion flakes (optional)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Without separating into individual rolls, cut tops off.
  • Line 9x13 pan with roll bottoms and place ham and cheese onto bottoms.
  • Put tops of rolls back on.
  • In a saucepan, mix remaining ingredients and bring to a boil for 2 minutes.
  • Pour sauce evenly over sandwiches.
  • Bake uncovered for 20 minutes.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  • Slice rolls in half, keeping tops and bottoms together.
  • Melt butter and whisk in onion, mustard, poppy seeds and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Brush the mixture evenly on both the top and bottom half of the rolls.
  • On the bottom half of each roll, top the mustard mixture a small slice of swiss cheese and two slices of ham.
  • Cover with foil and bake about 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
