HAM VEGGIE TOPSY TURVY ROUND
Ham Veggie Topsy Turvy Round is a 2013 Bisquick Family Favorites Recipe Contest award-winning recipe developed by Beth Campbell, 1st Place, Wisconsin State Fair (Milwaukee, WI).

Steps:
- Heat oven to 350°F. In 9-inch round pan or 8-inch square pan, place melted butter. Swirl to coat bottom of pan. Sprinkle onion, broccoli, carrot, tomato and ham evenly over butter.
- In large bowl, beat Bisquick mix, buttermilk, ranch dressing mix, oil, egg and 1/2 cup of the Parmesan cheese with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds, scraping bowl constantly, until well mixed. Pour batter over ham.
- Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Immediately place ovenproof serving plate upside down over pan; turn plate and pan over. Remove pan. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.

- Preheat oven to 425°. Cook broccoli and cauliflower according to package directions; drain., Meanwhile, in a small skillet, melt 2 teaspoons butter. Add bread crumbs; cook and stir over medium heat until lightly toasted, 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat., In a large saucepan, melt remaining butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth; gradually whisk in milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; cook and stir until thickened, 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in cheeses until blended. Stir in ham, pepper and vegetables., Transfer to a greased 8-in. square baking dish. Sprinkle with toasted crumbs. Bake, uncovered, until heated through, 10-15 minutes.

Steps:
- Combine beef, egg, onion, tomato sauce and taco seasoning.
- Spread in even layer in bottom of 10" baking dish.
- Bake 20 minutes.
- Prepared cornbread mix as directed on package.
- Drain excess juices and spread over top of meat.
- Turn oven up to 400 and continue baking until bread is browned.
- Pour off any juices and turn upside down onto serving dish.
- Garnish with tomato, avocado, olives and shredded lettuce.

TOPSY-TURVY APPLE PIE
Brown sugar and pecans make the crust special. After baking, the pie gets a twist: it's turned upside down onto the serving plate, transforming the sticky bottom crust into a moist, nutty topping.

- Heat oven to 425 degrees F. In 9-inch glass pie plate, mix brown sugar, butter and corn syrup. Spread evenly in bottom of pie plate. Arrange pecans over mixture. Make pie crusts as directed on box for Two-Crust Pie, placing bottom crust over mixture in pan.
- In small bowl, mix granulated sugar, flour and cinnamon. Arrange half of apple slices in crust-lined pie plate. Sprinkle with half of sugar mixture. Repeat with remaining apple slices and sugar mixture. Top with second crust; seal edge and flute. Cut slits in several places in top crust.
- Place pie on sheet of foil on middle oven rack in oven; bake 8 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F; bake 35 to 45 minutes longer or until apples are tender and crust is golden brown. Immediately run knife around edge of pie to loosen. Place serving plate upside down over pie; turn serving plate and pie plate over. Remove pie plate. Serve warm or cool with whipped cream.

This unique double-crusted apple pie is inverted after baking so that the brown sugar and pecan layer is on top.

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Spread butter or margarine evenly on bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate. Press pecans, rounded side down, into butter layer. Pat brown sugar evenly over nuts, then lay one pastry shell over brown sugar layer.
- Place apples in a large bowl and sprinkle with lemon juice.
- In a small bowl combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix well. Toss mixture with apples, coating thoroughly.
- Spread apples into pie plate. Cover apples with second pastry shell. Crimp edges of pastry and make steam vents in top.
- Bake in preheated oven for 50 minutes. Cool 5 minutes then place serving plate over top of pie; invert pie onto plate. Carefully remove pie pan. Serve warm or cool.

- Thaw hash brown shreds and broccoli.
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- If using refrigerated pie crust, place in pie plate according to package directions.
- Line pastry shell with foil and cook for 8 minutes.
- Remove pastry shell from oven and reduce heat to 325 degrees. Remove foil.
- Beat eggs lightly with a fork. Add remaining ingredients except fresh tomato.
- Spoon mixture into pastry shell. Slice tomato and layer around edges of quiche.
- Bake for about 45 minutes, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
